This portable potty works well enough; I mean, how exciting can a product like this be? The simple pump works perfectly well if you prime it slightly. Just add some water in the pump well and you're good to go. I had to figure it out on my own. It was the best priced one I could find with the features that I wanted. I thought this size was perfect: not too large but not too small.

This Passport 10L toilet is the best built portable toilet I have bought so far. I am a mobile dog groomer, and I need and use a porta potty on a daily basis to avoid having to stop between appointments and use public toilets. I have tried the Coleman, a total failure and waste of money. I have tried the Thetford 135, which is good but the seals leak quickly and emptying becomes disgusting. The slide out handle has no staying power. This Passport 10L is great. The pull out handle is tight and very secure. That's a plus when carrying to empty. Loose handles that leak make the trip to empty the unit a tragic experience. The pull up flush mechanism is flawless, and the flush is nice and powerful. Beats the flush of the Coleman and Thetford hands down. The unit is solid. Emptying is easy (though I do wish the countoured flushing pipe was built in like on the Thetford). And the built in gauge to warn of a full refuse tank is nice.

A rugged, well built toilet that, so far, performs well on a daily basis.

Buy with confidence. Hope this helps,

MLC

This was our first portable potty purchase. We gave it a water-only test run and are very disappointed. The flush mechanism only works if the water tank is very full and even then delivers just a trickle of water. We tried contacting the manufacturer at their web address only to have the email returned as undeliverable. We are returning this product.

I've used this toilet for 2.5 years every day on my semi truck. It has been kicked, knocked around, scraped up and the mechanisms have undergone a pretty good stress test in that time period, too. After a year, the part you grab onto when pulling the hatch slide out just broke right off around the plastic rod, but I'm still able to open and close it alright. Minor inconvenience. If there was ever a rubber seal around the inside of the waste port lid, it's gone now...which, when the waste water is filled to the brim, has caused nasty leakage. That's a more recent thing. The water squirter on the inside of the bowl leaves much to be desired. It really doesn't do a great job at reaching around the entire bowl to clean it that well when flushing, so I manually clean the bowl myself every few days or so. It takes a solid week of every-day use to fill that 8 litres up before you need to dump it. Overall, I've been pleased with how long and how well it has held up. I couldn't live without something like this on the road or on a boat...or even camping. Still highly recommend it. You get a lot of good use out of it for the $$$.
