5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing!, June 24, 2011
This review is from: Sanity, Insanity, and Common Sense: The Groundbreaking New Approach to Happiness (Hardcover)
I first stumbled across this book about 8 years ago in a used book store. I'm not even sure why I picked it up...the title is a bit off-putting & confusing, and I wasn't really even sure what the book was about. But, WOW!! I'm so, so grateful that I got this book. It absolutely changed my life. I can't think of any other book that has so radically and profoundly affected my whole way of thinking. This book literally retrained my brain.

I came to Amazon today to buy a copy for a friend, and I'm stunned to discover that this amazing book is out of print! It's a true gem of a book that has somehow escaped the mainstream attention that it so heartily deserves! I'm wondering if the title of the book led to its obscurity...if so, it's a real shame. This book has the power to transform lives.

Buy it. Read it. It WILL change your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars An enlightened end to suffering, June 6, 2011

This review is from: Sanity, Insanity, and Common Sense: The Groundbreaking New Approach to Happiness (Hardcover)
Finally man has done it, found a logical way to present the truth that all the mystics, sages, saviors, yogis and enlightened humans have been trying to tell man for thousands and thousands of years. This book hands down should be read by the entire world, especially those within the present control institutions i.e. the education system, organized religion, government and the like as it explains how all of mans suffering and need to control is a direct result of thought in a low level of consciousness. Basically all the problems of the world are due to the ignorance of man not understanding how lost he is within the realm of his thoughts. This book ties together what Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tzu, Osho, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Vernon Howard, Anthony de Mello, Eckhart Tolle and the like have all been trying to tell us: GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD, LIFE IS LIVED IN THE PRESENT MOMENT NOT THE THOUGHTS OF THE PAST OR WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE. This book can act as a bridge to set humanity free and put the human race back on course to return to the beautiful, all providing Garden of Eden this world truly is!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read, May 2, 2007

Anyone in the field of mental health, counseling, etc. should be required to read this book. It presents a radically different approach to metal health and makes psychotherapy a joint effort between client and counselor rather than a battle. Also allows for real growth rather than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
