I have a mixed review on the book. There are some great tips in there but a lot of them are irrelevant to me and I found the format difficult to follow.

I made use of the index but still had difficulty finding the tips I wanted. I was disappointed that a book targeting women didn't include depression or post-natal depression.

I think it would be useful for parents but as I have no children I skipped large sections.

Pros - short and sweet tips, easy to follow
Cons - hard to find the appropriate tips

I was also concerned that the author found it necessary to solicit testimonials. When I checked Amazon all the reviews were by people who had not reviewed any other books or in some cases only 1 other book (usually another of Dr Atkins' books

I have waited for this book forever-It is the most intelligent, helpful, absolutely life saving book I have ever read. I have underlined wisdom and tools on almost every page. It is truly invaluable and should be read by women of ALL ages. I have bought 7 copies for all my girlfriends, who are thanking me daily. And I thank the author for saving my sanity and my life.

This book is a great resource and reference for woman of all ages. It provides practical tips for managing a variety of stressful situations. Even more important, the tips are actually possible to implement! I know that I will refer to this book many, many times in the future as I navigate difficult situations in my day to day life.
