5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I expected - absolutely lovely!!
Unlike the previous reviewer, I've bought a lot of specialty stationary from Dark Horse Publishers. All their stationary is made for 6 letters. All their stationary only allows for you to write on one side of the paper. I think the main purpose is show the amazing art more than anything else, and this stationary set does that. I absolutely loved it and I also bought a set...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as nice as i thought
I know its just stationary but i thought it would be a bit better presented. It just comes in like a plastic envelope. The colors are kind of muted and the back sides of the paper say the Gods name all over it so you cant use both sides to write on really. The envelopes are cute though and so are the Gods(Krishna, Vishnu, Ganesh and Shiva). Wish i would have gotten the...

I bought the Gods and the Goddesses stationary packs for my yoga teacher for Christmas. Although the packaging is a little cheap since it's in a clear plastic sleeve, the paper is very cute and different. It looked like there may have been a touch of moisture in the package because some colors were a bit smeary on the last page of paper. I like that it comes with stickers too. Just a little bonus. They were very well received.

I bought this set and Sanjay Patel's Hindu goddesses set and I'm very happy with the purchase. The paper is thick enough that a rollerball Pilot pen does not show through the other side. Both sides are very usable and the designs don't take up so much space that you find it hard to write.

The designs are so beautifully designed and incredibly cute. I'm sure it's not easy to turn Kali into the cutest thing ever, but Mr. Patel has accomplished it!

If you're into stationery (fun stuff is somewhat hard to find in this day of homemade cards flooding the market) then I highly recommend purchasing this set and the set of Hindu goddesses. I will probably end up purchasing another few sets and framing some of the designs.

I bought several packages of stationery from this company because I was going for variety over quantity. My husband is currently in bootcamp, and I wanted to send him letters that were visually stimulating. I like this particular package a lot. Each page has a design in the bottom corner, and it appears that you could write OVER the design if you wanted, but I chose not to. The background is a solid color. I've been using black gel pens, and it looks great. Regular pens may be harder to read if you write over the design. On the back, each page is a bright orange, with some white writing. If you choose to write on the back, once again I recommend gel pens; they are thicker and darker, and generally do not bleed through. The orange on the back may be a little too bright for some people. I took a picture of the set before I used it, I will post that later so you can see what I'm talking about. The set includes 8 sheets of paper, 6 envelopes, and some stickers. I was a little confused at first because the front of the envelope has lines for the "TO" address, but nowhere to write "FROM"... then I noticed that on the back, where you seal the envelope, there are lines for the sender's address. THIS IS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE by the US postal service, and there is no problem with using it that way! However, since I have return address labels, I chose to put a label on the front instead. Overall, I think it's a great set; very cute designs.

EDIT: I just uploaded a photo of the set! Might add more later.
