Book Description

2002
The three volume set of The Ancient Power of Sanskrit Mantra and Ceremony, containing over 4,000 mantras and mantra powers, is the most complete collection of transliterated Sanskrit Mantras available in the English language. The first volume of this comprehensive three volume set covers the practical use of common Sanskrit mantras. Additionally, it provides some material you may have difficulty finding even with considerable research. The first volume contains only transliterated mantras. That is, the original Sanskrit mantras are rendered in the English alphabet, so that English-speaking readers can easily learn to pronounce them. Usually in the past these mantras have been published only in Indian books that use the Devanagari script, which can be pronounced only by those familiar with Indian languages. The second volume of this massive work presents detailed "how-to's" for a number of the most celebrated and powerful mantra disciplines. The third volume of the Ancient Power trilogy provides in-depth instruction on performing many complete traditional worship ceremonies. In addition to providing complete ceremonies for a number of deities, this text a basic template or outline that you can use to construct a traditional Vedic-style puja for the deity of your choice.
