Less than two years ago, I bought an Orion/Sansui TV. Less than a year later, it blew up. Was under warrantee, so they had to pay for it's repair. The digital board was shot among other things. Now less than a year after that, it blew up again. Called Orion assuming that the replacement parts from less than a year ago would also be under the same 1 year warrantee, but was shocked to discover they only put a 90 day warrantee on their replacement parts. So I told the lady very nicely that she could at least pay the $35 to have my set looked at by the repair shop and she wouldn't do it. So I told her they were gonna lose one way or the other. I obviously bought a lemon, and they wouldn't stand behind their product, nor their parts. I told her she could help me out, or with my remaining 30 or 40 years on this planet I would tell everyone I know to NOT BUY ANY ELECTRONICS FROM ORION. I assured her that I would be certain to persuade enough people to not buy their product that they would be worse off than standing behind their product now. She chose this route:

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ORION. IT IS JUNK, and they will NOT stand behind their product.

this tv was ok at first sound and picture are ok but the tv only last about a year then it blows up and your beat and have to buy a nother tv there for i would say this tv sucks and i would not ever recommend buying this brand go with samsung or sharp

I don't know what television the other reviewers received in order to give it such poor ratings, but THIS DVD Combo TV is "da bomb"!! It's great. The picture is perfect. The sound is awesome and the ease with which one has to use it is without a hitch. The World Series is in progress now and there is a dispute between our cable provider and News Corp rendering the broadcast channel defunct here in New Jersey. So, I purchased this gem of a TV, bought an indoor HDTV antenna and "voila"---magnificent picture quality. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!

Purchased this from a warehouse club at a very good price, but there were two bad pixels so it was returned. Got a second one and it too had one stuck pixel so it is going back also. 2 defective screens out of two indicates a serious problem with quality control since this should have been caught at inspection prior to shipping. Works ok otherwise, but remote control is not very user friendly. Compact TVs like this are usually used in the bedroom, so the remote should be designed for easy use in dark rooms.

I bought this about 6 months ago and I have to say I am really impressed by the quality of the product. It's easy to set up / very easy use. But most importantly, the picture quality is great! And the warranty is 1 year - better than the 90 days most have!

The TV's main problem is there is no HDMI port to connect it with Home Theater sytems. So one must use the other less sutiable methods which I found do not work very well. So I returned the one I purchased for something else which could accomodate such technology. The other big drawback is that it cannot function soundwise with DTS sound technology either which is a main component of most Home Theater A/V amplifiers.
