5.0 out of 5 stars NIV Bible (Giant Print)
This is great for young and old, for people with impaired vision or for dimly lit situations. Do not have to use my reading glasses when I read with this large print. Easy to carry and not heavy to handle. A plus for any one with eye problems.

2.0 out of 5 stars An excellent version, but poor craftmanship
As a pastor, a recommended this particular edition for several reasons:

1. It is a modern version (As appossed to the old Spanish of other translations that use an anticuated and unrealistic language). I honor the Word of God, not necessarily the grandiosity or the classic style of an old or purist language.

As a pastor, a recommended this particular edition for several reasons:

1. It is a modern version (As appossed to the old Spanish of other translations that use an anticuated and unrealistic language). I honor the Word of God, not necessarily the grandiosity or the classic style of an old or purist language.

2. It is a pulpit version. (Well, not exactly a pulpit version as announced, but for older believers, the font is large enough)

3. It is reasonably priced.

4. By having the same version, mature Cristians as well as new commers can find verses easily, either by citing the verses or by finding the page number.

5. Nueva Version International and The New Internatinoal are equivalent translations into Spanish and English respectively, which gives us a bilingual interpretation we can cross-reference.

The Cons, however, defeat the advantages by a large margin. The glue holding the book together splits easily. Most of the Bibles we bought for this purposes are in poor shape. The book is very delicate and it is easily damaged by the lightest mishandling. Not even the ribbon is stable. It splits into single threads.

This bible come in two versions: One having tabs marking the books inside. Howwever, when we ordered them, using the ISDN Number of the one with tabs, only some of them came with the tabs.

Unfornately I don't know any other model with the same translation, size and font, but in a robust book, to replace them.
