I wasn't expecting much when this movie came up on one of my cable channels recently. I was flipping by it and got caught up in a moment and found myself watching it to the end. Santa has a daughter, a work-a-holic business woman who left "Polaris" and her family's lifestyle behind. When her father falls ill, it's up to her to step in and take over the Christmas demands. Her way of doing business is very different from her fathers. Lots of fun and all the classic "feel good" scenarios to be found. Definitely worth adding to the holiday viewing line-up!

Thank goodness, there's finally something I can watch Jenny McCarthy in without having to justify to my wife why I'm watching. `Santa Baby' released in '06 is a predictable but enjoyable Christmas tale that the whole family can enjoy. Jenny plays the role of Mary Class, rising, no nonsense business executive who gets an expected phone call from her Mother on Thanksgiving Day. Her Father has suffered a mild heart attack and her presence was needed at home immediately.

Well little did anyone know that home was in the far north in a little town named Polaris (i.e.: North Pole) and her real name wasn't Class, it was Claus, yep.. Mary Claus, Santa's daughter. Imagine if you will for a moment, Jenny McCarthy...I mean Mary Claus, coming to your house on Christmas Eve to fill your stocking. I guess Christmas isn't just for kids anymore!

My Rating: Not a classic, but lots of fun and good Christmas spirit. The elfs are actually pretty funny: -3 ½ Stars-.

Usually Christmas movies become very repetitive, with some unlucky child eventually saving Christmas. Santa Baby is refreshing and funny. Jenna McCarthy stars as Santa's daughter. Unlike other Santa's daughters from Once Upon a Christmas / Twice Upon a Christmas, McCarthy is a high-powered New York corporate executive who returns to the North Pole to run the Christmas operation. The movie follows her attempts to impose corporate discipline on the hoards of Santa's Elves. Ultimately, the culture clash produces some funny moments ("I'd tell you what to do with this stocking, but I don't want to end up on the naughty list..."). I love the introduction of computer geeks to Santa's workshop. The movie doesn't have a lot of child characters, so I don't know how much kids will enjoy it, but adults will probably like it.

Note: Santa Baby 2 will be showing on ABC this December 13. I'm looking forward to it.

Personally, I love "made for tv" movies and that includes this one. A great holiday movie about Santa, his wife and daughter, Mary. Jenny McCarthy plays a great role as Santa's daughter who has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and then finds it. I will watch this flick every year!

Have you ever wondered if Santa Claus has family problems like everybody else? Apparently, according to this movie, he's gone tons of them, and they're all quite seriously hilarious. Relationship difficulties, business problems, family tensions -- they're all amusingly explored by a really wonderful cast. Jenny McCarthy is beyond perfect as Santa's daughter, a powerhouse of a workaholic who's been called back from her normal business world to save her Dad's business.

Of course, she will run into the gorgeous old boyfriend and sparks will fly as the plot thickens. I love this movie any time of year. The laughs are there from beginning to end, and it's definitely worth watching multiple times with family and friends of any age.

Have I mentioned that Jenny McCarthy is fabulous?

I love both the Santa Baby movies and they're both Christmas movies you can watch multiple times... Jenny McCarthy is great in this role... awesome little holiday movie! Thumbs up

I was very happy to find the movie Santa Baby available through Amazon, it's a movie I really enjoy. I look forward to finding and purchasing Santa Baby 2 in the future.

I first saw this movie last year during the Christmas season and instantly fell in love with it. Jenny McCarthy is great in this. The story line is great. I watched it again last week on tv with my 6yr old stepdaughter. She was into it right away. Then in walked my boyfriend, and he got into it right away too (maybe it was McCarthy that got his interest at first-but thats fine). Good thing i had recorded it on the dvr, because right when the commercials came on he instantly said "fast forward it"! Every commercial break that came on thats what i heard. So all in all i highly recommend this movie to anyone that enjoys the "cute" Christmas family movies. I'm glad i was able to buy it here. I'll be watching it again when it comes in the mail....

I really enjoyed this movie. Jenny McCarthy played wonderfully in this movie. I'm a huge Christmas movie fan. I watch any Christmas movie i can. I really liked how she was all wrapped up in her own life,that she was to busy to worry about anything else. But this Christmas her mother calls her to come home. Her father is Santa and he's not been feeling well. So as Santa's Daughter she has to take over. In all of the mess she really see's all she's been looking for was at home the whole time. It really is an awesome movie. I would recommend to add to your collection.
