Hilary Duff can Sing! I Don't know where those two negative reviews came from, but obviously they didn't listen to this CD.
I bought this CD for my 11 year old daughter for her birthday and we both love it! It'll put you in the Holiday mood! So if you're a Lizzie McGuire fan, Buy it! And if not! This is a great Holiday mood booster! Buy it!

If anyone in your family is a Lizzie McGuire fan, or for that matter, if you have any girls under 12 on your gift list, this would probably be a hot item to get this year.

Heavily engineered, maybe for good reason, this album is packed with bouncy Christmas songs, geared towards a younger audience. If you're looking for a crooning Bing Crosby or a regimental Mormon Tabernacle Choir - this one is NOT for you.

Make a tween happy this Christmas and get her this upbeat, fun, dance-ready CD. You may even get the dishes done in gratitude -maybe.

If Disney-generated mass market pop is not your thing, put a nice toasty pair of earmuffs on your own list.

Hilary Duff's show Lizzie McGuire doesn't give her enough room. If you think she can act you have to hear her sing. DisneyMania's website has excepts from every song and the music video to go with "Santa Clause Lane" which will be in The Santa Clause II this holiday season. Her web site also has a direct link to the DisneyMania site to hear the music. Enjoy :)

So here it is.... Hilary Duff's Christmas CD. At 1st listen there weren't many songs that enjoyed listening to. By the 2nd time I had listened to it I loved all of them. In fact, I like it so much that it hasn't left my cd player since I bought it 3 weeks ago!

I adore the 1st song, called `What Christmas Should Be', which is about how the true meaning of Christmas shouldn't be about presents or snow or carols, but should be peace on earth. I think this song was written particularly for Hilary, and it shows in how the song suits her voice. Her voice is gorgeous in this song!
Hilary's duets with Christina Millian, Lil' Romeo and her sister Haylie Duff are surprisingly good. You wouldn't expect Hilary to sound all that great next to the strong singer Christina Millian, yet it does. Lil' Romeo has a style so different to Hilary's, but Lil' Romeo rapping The Night Before Christmas in the song `Tell Me a Story' along with Duff singing still sounds good.
The down sides to this Christmas CD is Hilary's weak voice in the famous songs `Jingle Bell Rock' `Santa Claus Is Coming to Town' and `Wonderful Christmastime.' It's a shame that she didn't sing these three well-known songs well, because despite an excellent effort for the rest of the album, they seemed to let Hilary down.

Overall, I found it an enjoyable listen that livened my Christmas up. It is naturally a bubble-gum-pop version of Christmas songs, so if that isn't what you like listening to, then this CD is not for you. 4 stars out of 5!!!

Hilary Duff has an amzing voice, which goes good with the Christmas theme. This CD is a must-have for pop fans, Hilary Duff fans and all who celebrate Christmas! The money was worth it!

I bought this last year and played it all through the Christmas season.Now that it is Christmastime again- I am listening and still enjoying it! The CD is a combination of classic Christmas
songs-like Jingle Bell Rock and Santa Claus is coming to town-and new songs like What Christmas Should Be from Hilary's movie Cheaper By The Dozen. All songs are sung in a sweet,innocent voice with great energy . Hilary Duff understands the Christmas spirit and conveys that with her voice. Only a Grinch wouldn't like this CD!Buy it for this Christmas and enjoy it for years to come!

Hillary Duff can act...now the big question is can she sing, this 16-year old has proven herself with her first album. A Great Christmas album that will make you want to listen all year long.

The CD starts off with a semi-fast song, "Santa Clause Lane"
With easy lyrics that could easily get stuck in your head and have you humming along. (Walk in this Christmas/Down santa claus lane/No need to wonder/No need to explain...)

Her versions of "Santa Clause is Coming To Town","Jingle Bell Rock" and "Sliegh Ride" sound a bit mechanical, but are still good and she still gives a great effort.

The best songs on the album don't appear until later with "I Hear Santa On The Radio" and "Tell Me A Story" (Tell me a story/I believe, oh I believe/All things are possible on Christmas Eve...) Lil Romeo joins Hillary in this fun and best song on the entire album.

I hope to hear more of Hillary's great voice.

I bought this CD after I heard the song "Santa Claus Lane" on the Disney Channel. This is a very cute CD and Hilary Duff is a really good singer. She should definitly do more albums in the future. Rock on Hilary!

Oh, and check out her show on Disney called "Lizzie McGuire"! The soundtrack rocks too!

I highly recommend both CD's...

I got this cd the other day. I am a true Hilary Duff fan and I thought before I bought it that it would be a horrible cd but boy was I wrong. The songs are fun and upeat. I am 12 years old. My grandpa even loves this cd. I listen to it every chance I get. If you like a good cd for Christmas cd for you or a family member it is sure to bring a smile to there face, and yours take my word and by it don't wait by it now.

Hilary's CD, "Santa Claus Lane," is awesome! It brings a Christmas spirit unmatched in other Christmas albums. Hilary's voice is purely angelic and just adds to the magic of the songs. I hope she goes on to make more CD's soon.
