I bought this book because I first read about it on a local best-seller list. My grandsons and I loved it--they were thrilled to read a story that mentioned Iowa City (where we live) and had several illustrations of well-known buildings here (Old Capitol and The Children's Museum). It also mentioned/illustrated quite a few other cities/towns in Iowa so I think other Iowa kids would love it too. Our family has been to quite a few of the other towns mentioned so that was exciting for the boys also. Unlike other personalized books we've purchased, this had a good story line and good illustrations. I thought this was a clever book and am glad I purchased it. It would be cool if the author wrote a non-xmas story aimed at kids who live in Iowa (and other states).

I am just wondering why this book is SO expensive? I would never pay this much for this book. The other Santa is coming to... books are much cheaper.
