My son received his first Santa Paws book as a gift from his kindergarten teacher 7 years ago. We enjoyed reading a chapter every evening at bedtime. Since that time I found there were additional titles and bought them all. The stories center around Santa Paws, a german shepherd stray adopted by the Callahan family at Christmas time. Each book tells adventures of the dog along with his owner Gregory. Santa Paws has saved lives and helped many people along the way. The stories generally take place just around the holidays. My six year old daughter does not enjoy these books because they do not have pictures! But my two sons have adored them. It is a pleasant, heartwarming series of books that can be enjoyed with your children.
