My wife made me buy this book for her. She HATES baking, but this book has changed her mind. She borrowed this book from a friend, and commented how easy all the recipes were in it. She told me to go upstairs and BUY this book..

She baked a Chocolate Kiss cookie with walnuts in it that was lightly sprinkle with confectioners sugar that I could NOT believe that SHE baked!! I ate 5 of them, and they were something like Martha Stewart would have baked.

Seriously, for the "not-so" baker in all of us, pick up this book, it will change your mind about Christmas Cookies...

What a neat present to give since kids get so many toys I figured this would make a fun keepsake. And believe me it far exceded my expectations. The plate is ceramic and beautifully decorated and the cookbook is easy and fun for the kids. And the best part was the price! In fact, I ordered some more for presents for Christmas 2008.

I was very disappointed that I did not receive a plate with the cookie book. The was the wording of the item's description was very deceiving. I assumed when I ordered the item, I would also receive a plate. I e-mailed the vendor and received no answer.
