Patricia Gardner Evans rounds out the mix with "Comfort and Joy," a warm story of two mature people who are surprised by love and a Christmas snowstorm that coincidentally provides all the requisite characters for the Christmas story. [Note: "The Healing Touch" is an expanded version of the New Readers story by the same name that Dailey published under Laubach Literacy's Signal Hill imprint in 1994.]
