I was looking for something other than flip flops to wear with shorts in the summer. I wanted to pick up a pair of white shoes, but I am not sure I can pull off the sockless-leather-loafer look. These shoes were exactly what I wanted. This is the more age-appropriate version of a boat shoe for a thirty-something. They are casual enough to be worn with board shorts or cargo khaki shorts, but they can definitely swim up-stream and be worn with a more preppy summer look.

I have only had these for a matter of hours, but they seem extremely comfortable. Immediately upon putting them on, I went back to amazon to see what other colors were available.

The one negative I will mention is that they try a little too hard to be relaxed, with that broken-in look. I trimmed off the loose threads to give it a more finished look and they are great!

Lastly, for the price, can you really go wrong??

The Sanuk sidewalk shoes are great. This is the second pair my teenage son has owned. They are so well made that they are really hard to wear out. I am always skeptical about ordering on line, but you will not have any problems with these shoes. They are true to size. And if you need a return it is easy.

these are comfortable and stylish shoes that i really like. but i would suggest going with the European sizing table for a more reliable fit

Just slip these on to walk to the boardwalk. I wore these almost everyday, lasted about 2 summers until they completely fell apart. No arch support or cushion whatsoever but these type of shoes typically don't have that. Overall good shoes.

This is my favorite "not a shoe" from Sanuk (I have 5 different styles so far). Unfortunately, they seem to have discontinued them :'( But luckily I bought 3 pairs (1 black, 2 brown). I have been wearing one of them pretty much everyday for the past year (and I don't treat them very nicely) and they're still in pretty good shape! They've survived 3 multi-day-amazed-that-anything-survived music festivals and several urban backpacking trips, as well as general everyday walking around and my only complaint is that the sole is really compressed at the heel. But they're still super comfy and can easily be dressed up or down! Definitely worth the money! I wish they still made them :-/

I've had these in brown for over two years and they are the most comfortable shoe/sandal I have in my closet (Vans Era's, Converse All-Star's, Sperry Topsider's, Scott's Sandals). I wear them as sandals, without socks, and the rubber insole molds to your feet perfectly and provide a custom fit. When I first got them the rubber was white and bright, and I could pass them off as "shoes" but as I broke them in the white dulled and it became more of a thrashed around sandal. As far as durability is concerned I wear these bad boys everywhere! They've been in my pool, in the ocean, camping, school, work, play.. One of the advantages that I like the most about these compared to say Rainbows or Reefs is that they're closed toed and keep my toes warm when i wear them at night be it a bonfire or a night at the beach. If you want a comfortable slipper/shoe/sandal these are the best you can buy!

This shoe is worth the price I paid here on Amazon. This is my fourth pair . I have worn many other slip ons and these are by far the most comfortable and durable yet. I only hear great things about these shoes. My review is solely based on personal experience.

These are pretty cool shoes, but they are over hyped and under delivered. You won't be blown away by the quality or the "innovation," but they make good house shoes.
