3.0 out of 5 stars No real arch support whatsoever
Pros:

Soft shoe, lightweight fabric, pliable sole, good for slow strolls around town and standing in line on hot days.

Cons:

Raggedy looking, frumpy design, absolutely no arch support

Suggestion: Buy a $10-$12 arch support insert as I did, makes all the difference in the world. Will keep me from...

I bought these 5 weeks ago and haven't worn anything else (on my feet) in that time. Yeah, some people probably think I'm wearing my bedroom slippers, but they're *so* comfortable.

GF and I are heading to Bonnaroo, we were told to buy some Sanuks as they are the perfect festival sandal.. So we bought some. 10 seconds after you put them on you'll realize these are the most comfortable sandals you'll ever wear. I can't wear flip flops they hurt my feet, these are perfect. I wear a size 10.5 so I went smaller with a size 10 as they will stretch as you wear them. The gf had the same experience with her Sanuk Donna's. I also got her the sanuk yoga mat flip flops she says they are the most comfortable flops she's ever owned. We are sold on this company! The stash pocket really does work, you could put a key in there without worrying about it coming out. Has velcro at the top. I do suspect these will get a little hot.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO COMFORTABLE SAYS A TEENAGER, December 28, 2010
I purchased these for my 15 year old son for Christmas - guess these are becoming quite popular among his peers. He loves them, says they are ridiculously comfortable (and "cool").

Good shoe bro. Keep em' coming! stash pockets work great, no problems. Not made for tearing up the outback or construction, but that suits me fine. Enjoy another success from Sanuk, fight the power, peace, I'm out.

Overall, I like these shoes and would recommend them but they're a little different from what I expected.

First, these are really more like sandals than shoes.

The heels are not stiff as you might expect from other casual style loafers, in fact they are very pliable. I actually prefer this, because I think it improves your foot posture, and makes for a more comfortable walking experience.

Also, the fabric on the shoe isn't stiff at all like you see in the picture. It actually sags a fair amount. The 'shoe' is essentially denim stitched to a sandal heel. I ordered a size 10, which is normally my size for most other shoes, but they're really lose. I'd order a size down next time.

One other thought - the soles of the shoe sticks out noticeably from the fabric portion all around the perimeter of the shoe. They curl up a bit as well. It's not so obvious from the pictures, but it is a somewhat odd looking aspect of the shoe that a casual observer might notice. In most other loafers, the sole is flush with the fabric portion of the shoe. I hate to say it, but it does look a little 'clownish.' I think the are designed like this to keep the fabric well stitched to the shoe.

As for the good aspects, they are quite comfortable and you do get the experience of walking in sandals, while at the same time having a slightly more 'presentable' shoe that can keep stuff out.

I'd recommend these shoes, but I'd probably get the Kerouac's the 2nd time around. The Kingston's look fine, but they're also a little hot to wear in the summer time.

**** Update

After having these shoes for ~6 months-ish or longer I really don't think I'd buy these, or any other Sanuks again. It's not that they're horrible, I still wear them around a lot, but there are definitely better sandals / casual shoes out there.

They aren't really that comfortable (although they're not uncomfortable), and they definitely aren't durably constructed. Not a whole lot of stiffness to the shoe.

After several months, they feel like slightly thick flip-flops with some cloth sewn over the top - which is what they are. They retain a lot of heat, so in Florida weather, you're feet will get hot in them.

In the future, I'll either go with true open-toed sandals that are durably constructed, or casual types shoes.

These Sanuks try to be both, but fail at both, and are cheaply constructed.
