After having 7 surgeries and arthritis in both knees, I need a shoe with a LOT of cushioning to wear. These flip-flops provide the most comfort I have ever found in any kind of shoe to include athletic shoes. I plan on buying all the colors to wear with everything. They look great and my knees dont hurt after walking around the beach or the stores. I recommend them very highly and I never before felt the need to recommend a product.

I recently ordered the following 5 pairs of flip-flops, all for about $11 each with the Amazon special; I've included my thoughts on each so others could see how each pair ranks in comparison to the others I ordered:

Rating: 5 out of 5; very cute gingham pattern inside thong straps, fits perfectly, the most comfortable shoes I've ever tried, they are the favorite of the 5 flip-flops I ordered (I chose green because it was the only color available for under $20 in my size at the time)

Rating 5 out of 5: These were the most attractive on my feet, slightly less comfortable than the yoga-mat thongs, but fit perfectly; these are the second favorite of the 5 flip-flops I ordered.

Rating 4 out of 5: Although very ordinary in fit and construction, they look pretty on my feet; I could have probably boughten similar ones locally for less money; these are the third favorite of the 5 flip flops I ordered.

Rating 3 out of 5: Although they have the exact same size imprinted on them as the lavender ones I ordered (see above), when held back to back, these are at least 1/2 inch longer. They are too big, and not as pretty as the lavender ones, but wearable.

Rating 2 out of 5: These fit perfectly but just don't look very pretty on my feet; the peice of white striping that extends beyond the band looks a little odd. Also, there is also a 2-inch flaw in the polka-dot print on the base of the right shoe that is covered by my right foot when worn, but I know it is there and I would have chosen a different pair if I had the opportunity to inspect before purchasing. These are my least favorite of the 5 flip-flops I ordered.

I am typically not a "flip-flop" fan but this one takes the cake!!!!! The cushion the Sanuk yoga mat flip flop provides is unbelievable. It simultaneously is able to form fit to your foot AND spring back after wearing for ultimate cushion later! Amazing footwear!

These shoes are not as comfortable as advertised. Absolutely cannot wear them in or on wet surfaces. They are extremely slippery when wet. A big disappointment

These flip flops are exactly as described. They feel just like yoga mats under your feet. I normally wear a 7.5, but only whole sizes were available so I went down to a 7. The flops are a little snug, but are still very comfortable. I would still recommend getting a 1/2 size up if you are in between sizes.

Also, this seller delivered the product in a very timely manner and in good condition.

This is the first review I've ever written for Amazon. I stand by my word when I say that Sanuk Yoga Mat Sandals are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn so far in my life. When it comes to shoes, comfort is the number one thing I look for. And even though I love wearing Crocs, SAS, RYKA, Skechers, and Havaianas, the Sanuk Yoga Mat sandals have become my favorite shoe and brand. I was first introduced to the Sanuk brand when I went shopping at John's Pass Village & Boardwalk in Florida. I went shopping as a reward for undergoing surgery this year. I wanted to get my mind off of the pain from my surgery. The name "Sanuk" caught my eye because I'm Thai-American, and Sanuk means "fun" in Thai. I started smiling because I saw the smiles on the soles of the sandals. And Thailand is known as being "the land of smiles". Looking at these shoes just brought warm feelings for me because I thought about my family in America and my relatives in Thailand. At John's Pass, when I was talking to the store clerk about the Sanuk line, he said that I had a good eye because the Sanuk sandals were the top selling sandals at his store. I bought the Sanuk Yoga Mat Sandal for myself and a co-worker at home for her upcoming birthday. Then later on, I started buying more Sanuk Yoga Mat sandals online. I'm so glad that Sanuk Yoga Mat sandals exist. They are so comfortable and functional. You can walk for hours in these shoes. They're nice looking enough that during the warm weather season, I wear these sandals at my workplace. I highly recommend these shoes. For anyone suffering from any physical pain, you will feel better walking in these sandals. If I didn't care or feel strongly about something, I wouldn't have wasted my time or energy writing this review. But I truly feel that many women won't regret buying these sandals. I even bought some Sanuk sandals for my father. I've been a longtime and loyal customer of Amazon since my Graduate School days, and I'm so glad that Amazon has the Sanuk Yoga Mat Sandals for Amazon customers to buy. These sandals are truly a "feel good" product. If you want to feel good and smile, buy these shoes.

These sandals fit great and are so comfortable its like walking on a cloud! I love them and will order them in other colors as well. The size 5 was perfect for me. The footbed is made from yoga mat and it feels great- you can walk all day long. The material in between the toe is smooth and does not irritate your skin at all. Try these and you will never wear $5.00 flip-flops again.

Just like everyone has said, these are very very comfortable....not quite enough arch support for me but they are just so easy on your feet that I plan to buy another pair....run true to size.

These have to be the MOST comfortable flip-flops I have ever bought. I have them in the black and brown. However, when I went on the Beach I accidently got them wet in the Ocean. Big mistake. These shoes are dangerous when they are wet. They are really like a Yoga-Mat, and do become squishy,and very slippery. Other than that, when they dried out, they where still just as good as new.... Can't beat the comfort.( just don't wet them )
