Well, I am a huge fan of the Sanyo eneloop batteries. I use them for everything. When I found out that they made adaptors for the AA batteries, I wanted to check them out immediately.
The first major selling feature of this product is adaptability. I no longer need to spend hundreds of dollars rotating in multiple batteries for all my gear. All i need are some rechargeable batteries and these handy adaptors and I have thousands of hours out of 4 AA batteries.
Second is cost savings. Why on earth would anyone buy another non-rechargable battery? I can get thousands of recharges out of one battery. If that battery is now adaptable to multiple different sizes, you've save additional bucks!
The next major advantage is weight savings! 4 of these with the Eneloop AA's and your Maglite will will weigh half as much as it used to. Use it in radios for emergency weather information too! Now your radio doesn't weigh as much.
Keep a dozen of the AA's and a dozen AAA's on hand and you can pretty much power anything in the event you need them.
Pros:
Inexpensive
Versatile
Lightweight compared to actual batteries.
Cons:
Plastic could break easy, but I have had these for about a year now with no issue.

No more alkaline "C" and "D" cells taking up shelf space. We simply place Eneloop "AA's" in both the "C" and "D" adapters for flashlights, wireless speakers, etc. Good feeling to no longer be tossing used batteries in the trash.

Item works VERY WELL...I'm using Rayovac and Energizer rechargeables with these and it's basically an unlimited supply of C batteries..haha.

The silly thing is that we only have ONE toy or item that even needs this size battery.

On a side note, I would buy these from someone other than MYBATTERYSUPPLIER. My experience may have been a fluke, and you will receive your item, but my item that was supposed to arrive on April 5th at the latest (these were part of a gift to my daughter) did not show up until over a week later on the 14th.

Just something you may want to consider.

Exactly as described. Just what I wanted. Priced right. Shipped promptly. Arrived in good condition. Really fills a need in my household for the seldom used, always dead C cells. These work great in my Roomba 500/600/700 Series Virtual Wall / Lighthouse - #80201, which are the only C battery requirement I have. Of course you don't get something for nothing as a disposable C cell last about a year and the Eneloop AA last about three months in this application and then I have to spend another 3 cents to recharge them :) As others mentioned, don't forget (duh) that AAs are slightly longer than Cs and might not have enough space in some applications.

I have stocked up on Eneloop AA and AAA batteries over the last few years, but with small children I found myself needing more and more C batteries. So I picked up these spacers several months ago. I have used them a few times, but shortly after purchasing them I bought some rechargeable C batteries (see below). The spacers come out in emergencies, but mostly sit in the battery drawer.

The product is pretty much as described (plastic spacers that hold AA batteries), but they left out a few details. Primarily the fact that AA batteries are slightly longer than C batteries. In devices that use a long spring at the '-' end of the battery compartment, these should work okay. But where space is limited you will find that AA+spacer is an extremely tight fit in terms of length. In devices that require multiple batteries end-to-end, the effect is multiplied. When in a bind I have forced these into a few products, but not without fear of damaging something.

If you want a universal solution, or your device doesn't have super-long springs, then I would recommend investing some rechargeable C cells. They aren't as cheap as the spacers, but you don't have to worry about fit and the capacity is much higher than AA's. I went with Tenergy batteries and have been very pleased so far. I've had them for a while and have had no problems through several discharge/recharge cycles.

The charger does the job for now, but has a timer instead of a protection circuit. It also charges AA's and AAA's

I needed an adapter for AA-size batteries, for use in a device that called for C-size batteries. Saw a lot of these things out there... A lot of the reviews talked about them not fitting correctly into the C-cell slots.

Since I use a lot of Eneloop rechargeable batteries (and I like them), I thought I would give these a try. Well, they fit like a glove... Just like they're supposed to work.

These aren't rocket science; they make your AAs wider so they will fit in C cell locations. I hadn't anticipated that the batteries would be able to slide right through, but there's no problem with that. They do the job and fit in my roomba virtual walls just fine. Nice to be able to use my rechargables where otherwise I'd have disposable batteries.

its nice to use my rechargeable AA batteries in something that requires C, they work perfect. Just keep in mind that AA will have to be changed more often because they don't have as much capacity as C.

Bought these battery adapters so I could use a rechargeable AA battery in a flameless LED candle. The candle was designed for a single "C" battery.

Even though they are the same voltage, I knew going in that an "AA" battery has less capacity than a "C" but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. These adapters do, indeed, allow an AA to be used. No problem at all and they are well made.
But, as expected, the life of the AA was quite short compared to the bigger C battery. Think of it as a small gas tank compared to a bigger one.

So, I give 5 stars because they do work exactly as advertised. Your device will work fine. But, beware that the AA
battery(s) will simply not last as long as the C cells you are replacing.

Works as expected. No problems fitting into C slots on multiple devices. If you need this don't hesitate to make the purchase.
