I really do love this product because it browns things so well on the top and the bottom. HOWEVER, you can't lower or control the temperature, and I have found that the only way to be sure that food browns on the outside while being fully heated through and cooked inside (Other than when cooking meats), the way to go is to cook it before putting it in this roaster. I would heat pizza for a bit in the microwave, then put it in the roaster and get a beautiful crisp fresh from the oven taste.

I made fish with this, (cooked whole!)and it came out beautifully! skin was crisp on both sides...great alternative to frying!

Cleanup is a snap! The bottom and top detatch so you can wash them, andthey wash easily.

I really think this is a must have in the kitchen when you want to be able to cook a side, or make a dinner of fish or meats for two. It's a lot rommier than my george forman grill.

Just be aware that the space unside is limited as to how thick the food can be you lay in there...so foods that are 2 inches thick would be hitting the burners directly.

Other than that, it's a great little product!

My wife likes it a lot 'cause she can bbq the meat, steak, fish with a little black burn around the meat. All other machines will automatic turn off when it reaches certain temperature so you can never the burn your bbq with a little black stuff around the meat.

But my mom doesn't like that much. That's why I give it a four star only.
