I've used this fridge for nearly a month and it works great. Beverages are ice cold and there's no frost; exactly what I wanted. I have to give Sanyo a "ding" for the poor packaging - they placed styrofoam only on the four corners (top and bottom) rather than all the way down the length of all edges, and nothing on the flat sides. Result? Right out of the box the coil on the back had been knocked off it's bracket during shipping and there were dents all the way up and down all four sides on the edges. I remounted the coil, fixed the bracket and tested it. It worked fine so I decided I could live with the dents rather than deal with the hassle because I needed a fridge "now" and it went under a desk rather than in the open anyway.

I ordered this fridge from amazon. It arrived in a perfectly undamaged box. However when I opened it it looked like it was a refurbished unit. There were scratches on one side of it and a sizable dent in the other. The rather large radiator assembly on the back also was falling off because the screws holding it on were stripped.

Amazon is taking care of the problem and shipping me a new unit at no charge, and having UPS pick up the old one. I am a little disappointed by Sanyo that it passed any quality control check though.

Besides that it is a great little fridge. I turned it on anyway for a couple of hours and it is very quiet, just a almost silent hum and that's all. I would have given it a 5 star review if I had not received a beat up unit.

I just installed this refrigerator in my office, and it is very quiet... in fact can't even hear it. My office neighbor's AC is way louder. I paid the extra for an "all refrigerator" so that I don't need to be concerned about defrosting every 3 months. It fits perfectly where I pictured it in the corner of my small office space, and I hope lives up to what the reviews say about keeping things refrigerator cold as opposed to cooler only cold. The black color also blends in well with my office furniture/decor. I ordered it on Sunday night, received it on Wednesday afternoon, and I live on a neighbor island in the state of Hawaii. I was impressed that shipping rate was really reasonable as well. If it lasts as long as my other mini fridge at home, I'll be very happy camper.

I have a small 'executive suite' style office. The office is used to meet with clients (all real work is done at home). It's always nice to offer the client a cold bottled water or coke. This refrigerator fills the bill perfectly. It fits under my desk and is there when I need it. Keeping it stocked with stuff is my biggest chore!

Temperature control really stinks- the slightest adjustment moves the temperature from the high 40's to the low 20's. Even in the low 20's it keeps running trying to go lower. No I do not have it on Max cold.

This is a great little fridge. We bought it for our son's dorm room at school and it performs that function very well. For a small fridge, it's well laid out, works efficiently (keeps the drinks pretty cold), spacious (fits a surprising amount of drinks). I would recommend it. However, the packaging it arrived in was flimsy, minimal and frankly inadequate. Make sure you check the fridge exterior thoroughly when you receive it. Ours arrived with some minor scratches (the box was ripped at the side) but due to time constraints, we decided it wasn't worth the hassle of returning it and getting a new one.

Purchased this because an older one had a freezer compartment that always got frosted and needed defrosting
every couple of weeks.
This little beauty is frost free and has more space because of the lack of the freezer unit.
Overall a nice efficient little no frost refrigerator.
The shipping was outstanding. It was well packaged and arrived very fast.

Never had a chance to use the unit. It was a great deal through Warehousedeals but UPS drive comes in with it and I look at him and he looks at me and expected me to sign for the unit. Box was almost black from dirt, unit was not secure inside at all and, box was open at top with some make shift re-tape thrown in. Back of unit where heat grill is was ripped of it's back. Not to mention the gigantic dent on both sides and rear.

You really need to be careful with heavy items from Amazon. Especially Warehousedeals. There were no more available to receive so this unit went back. I am not even sure if Amazon is to blame or 3rd party in this case. Since Amazon is good with customer service and returns, for me it was worth the chance on this and in the future using Amazon Warehousedeals.
