Provides Dolby tape and CD player in single DIN format. Good sound on FM, CD and tape.

Wish I had known
I have 3 FXCD 550 and they are an easy to operate dependable unit. They have simple operating controls and work great........The BIG PROBLEM is that they wont play CD/R or CD-RW... The show error with E07 and it just irratates the hell out of me..So I bought a FXCD 1100 hoping that it was an upgraded version but when I opened it up and read yhe lit.....Will not...

Since I opened the box, their vendor wants a 15% restocking charge so by the time you pay for shipping and the return cost, you may as well just stick it on a shelf in the garage....THERE IT IS!!!!

So far, I am really pleased with this car AM/FM radio/CD/cassette player. Nice that the lights on it are not too bright to distract a driver. The radio is strong, and the cassette player works great. I am happy with it.

There are not going to be many tape players in the future so get one while it is still avaliable. The cd is also nice to have all in one.

I believe I have done this once for the vendor. Radio/CD/Cassett player arrived in good condition. Installed immediately.
Seems to work fine. This is the third one of this type I have purch. I was surprised that the entry slots for CD/Cass. are hidden behind the console. This appears to be a better design which will function longer than the previous models. What is the warranty period? Graeme Reid

The unit was delivered quickly, faster than I expected. The radio performs flawlessly. It was installed in a pretty hostile environment, in a farm tractor. The blaupundt unit installed previously didn't do well in the dust and dir. The Sanyo performs without a glitch. The face folds down to load cd's and tapes and the closes to keep dirt out of the works. I love it. GW
