I was more of a fan of Boogie's more intimate "It's All Good" but I found "Sao Paulo", although there were some occasional good shots, mostly an uninspired experience. The book boasts that the collection was compiled over a single week of photos. And it counts as no real surprise either. A tourist could get the same results. I want more from someone who considers himself a photo-journalist. The revelation here is that there's poverty in Sao Paulo. Hardly a revelation for anyone only vaguely acquainted with the city.
