5.0 out of 5 stars The Cambourne jewels gleamed with brilliance - and treachery..., March 16, 2006
This review is from: Sapphire Legacy (Paperback)
Hidden Fire - The Cambourne sapphires were the most exquisite jewels Catheine had ever seen. They were as brilliant as the stars in the Cornwall sky - and as treacherous as the rocky cliffs below. For the sapphires could only belong to the mistress of Castlefield Manor, a title that had met with nothing but tragedy in the past. And now the Cambourne legacy belonged to her...
Hidden Shadows - Forced into a loveless marriage with the aging Lord Charles Cambourne, Catherine was grateful for the heirloom jewels he draped around her neck, and for his kindly, undemanding protection. Without it, she would have been at the mercy of the jibes and accusations of Charles' family - not to mention the disturbing gleam in his heir's icy gaze. But Charles was an old man who could not live forever. . . especially since someone at Castlefield intended to make sure his young bride would never escape the deadly Sapphire Legacy.

He smiled down at me, his eyes drawing me to him. I was lost and couldn't speak.
There was nothing and no one else, except Matthew and me, spinning around the floor...
