Ok let me start off by saying that I originally had a Sapphire 7970 the OC edition with boost and initially it was my first Sapphire name brand card I bought. I was extremely happy with the Radeon cards performance especially being that I switched to AMD from Intel. I was getting some strong frames on Battlefield 4 and it was nice but in my head I was thinking is it worth getting a $300-$400 video card? Especially at the fact that I was only running one monitor 140Hz at the time and anything over 60 FPS is great. That being said I became a fan of Sapphire graphic cards, Sapphire and MSI are the top of my list. I decided to buy this card because it was labeled the top of its line and oh man that is not a lie. I installed with no problems the performance is flawless I was just amazed that this card competes with a 7970, I was only loosing a few frames but for the price I payed for this on Newegg I sold my 7970 for this just because it was cheaper and the same performance. I love the back plate on the card its sexy in my opinion, card stays nice and cool with the 3 fans, I especially love the simple one button push in on the side of the card to automatically overclock for you.
In conclusion to everything you don't need a high tier graphics card like the 7970, 7990, GTX 770 or above. Just get yourself the special edition 760 or R9 270x trust me the performance is just shocking. I ran this card with my AMD FX-8350 overclocked to 4.5 ghz water cooled on my sabertooth 990fx motherboard paired with 12 GB 1600 Corsair Ram and I was averaging 83 frames on battlefield 4. If you are on a semi-budget and don't want to break your wallet with these expensive graphics card this one is perfect.Read more ›

I bought this card because it had one of the best price vs. performance ratios for altcoin mining and have been very pleased.
Pros: - GPU stays nice and cool (60c) even under max load. That said, I have this thing running in my garage with the side panel open. - Excellent gaming performance compared to other brands...got a score of 4603 in Furmark running the 1920x1080 burn-in test. Averaged 80 FPS for the test. - Excellent altcoin mining performance...getting 488 kH/s in CGMiner 3.7.2 without much tweaking. At this rate with some favorable trading on exchanges I will have this card paid off in a little less than 2 months. - Includes 6 bright blue LEDs along the back which indicates current GPU temperature. - Has a very cool bright yellow LED that lights up the Sapphire logo along the side. Great look for folks with side panel windows. - Zero driver problems with Catalyst 13.12.
Cons: - Fans run fairly quiet but there is a noticeable and rather annoying whine. - I ended up buying two of these (the other from TigerDirect) and one looked warped from the side. It turns out the end of the heatsink isn't secured down to the back of the board so it can bend outwards. This issue is merely cosmetic and can easily be fixed. - This card is HUGE at just over 12 inches long. If you have an Antec Nine Hundred case it will fit but you will have to take out the middle hard drive cage, pull off the case fan and secure it to the front. If you buy two of these like I did I suggest you buy another case. I had a cheap LIAN LI Lancool PC-K56 case laying around that worked great because the hard drive rack could be completely removed.Read more ›

Bought it to replace a 560Ti Fermi and it's a night and day difference.
Quiet under load with fan at 40% My water pump and radiator fans are louder. Stay cool under load, never goes above 56C. Runs all my games at 65-85FPS 1920x1080. LEDs on tops to indicate temperature. Nice back plate to support weight of the card. Cool yellow/black color scheme.

Great card. Blows through almost all games max res 60 fps. Love it. I bought it when it was 320 and am very satisfied . I've seen it drop to 250 and for that price it's even more fantastic.

Very good graphics card, runs fairly cool, no artifacting so far although i hear their have been problems with the 280x and 290x in regards to that. I will eventually be cross firing 2 of these because i can't run metro last light at max and my psu has a lot of room to spare.
I belive at the time of this post that newegg restocked some there for 250 so id pick it up while its cheap.

This card is a beast... No games I have slow it down at all Crysis 3 is running 50 ish fps on very highest settings ! Now the only problem is I cant find another one to crossfire .. the only ones that I can find are 60-80$ more than what I paid for this one. Great card hard to find and now way over priced. Switched from XFX 6750 can't believe the difference amazing!!

I'm sure it's a great card, but mine has problems at factory default memory clocks. For a top of the range 270x, I'd certainly expect quality control to be a bit tighter on these models, but they're not. I'm very disappointed in Sapphire at the moment, as this is the first Sapphire card I've bought since the 5870 Eyefinity 6's I purchased years ago. For once though, Sapphire looked to have the best cards in their respective categories (I normally buy MSI Hawk &/or Lightning series gpu's).
Just an FYI for those considering purchasing these: these gpu's are already maxed out on vcore from the factory.
The real problem, is that no one, aside from a bunch of price gouger's on Amazon, has these in stock right now. Seriously folks, the rate you see these going for is nearly $75 (or more in some cases) over MSRP. Do not buy from these Amazon sellers pricing them above $260, you're getting conned. Let them eat the cost of their stock, by not purchasing from them (this includes some other major e-tailers btw)
Aside from my disappointment at not being able to return a brand new defective unit due to the e-tailer I purchased from @ Amazon being out of stock, I am only more disheartened by the greediness of the sellers that DO have stock.
For the record, I bought a brand new card, I do not want to RMA it with Sapphire, just to get a refurbished model, in return for my brand new, albeit, defective one. Between a rock & a hard place, is where I'm at on this one...
