4.0 out of 5 stars Now *this* is gothic.., June 27, 2003

Judging from the number of reviews, Switchblade Symphony is a much more popular band than Corpus Delicti; even though Switchblade sound like an old casio keyboard on factory settings... Which is a shame because Corpus Delicti can capture the gloomy/pretentious/withdrawn/mysterious aesthetic alot more
convincingly than most of the other so-called goth bands. Bands like this need a new name to seperate them from the chaff of the rest of the gothic scene.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy this cd because its great!, July 11, 1999

I was so happy the day i got this cd in the mail. It was a bit of a dissappointment because not all the songs were as good as their song of all desperations, but if you listen to it. it will grow on you like a fungus in a gym shower. Some songs are slow and boring, but songs like Saraband, the shelter, patient, and sufftagette city (a david bowie song) make up for it. This cd will have you hissing like dracula in no time! 5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic, December 17, 2004

this is beyond a doubt one of THE BEST bands to ever have the gothic label put on them. They are dark, musically talented, and well written, and have a surprising amount of releases. This is Cleopatra records re-mastered recording, which is very similar to a cd that came out before on Glasnost. I HIGHLY recommend this CD to anyone, and it can sell for over 20$ on ebay so grab it as low as you can!
