I couldn't hear the water, just the loud motor.

I ran it 10-15 minutes a day for two weeks, and then the motor died.

I really can't say it has any redeeming qualities.

Right on the box it's advertising "Enjoy The Soothing Sound of Flowing Water", well, it's a really cute fountain and I love the included river rock BUT the fountain motor is MUCH LOUDER than the "flowing water". I guess it can add some moisture into the air and it's cute but don't buy it if it's the "flowing water" you wish to hear.

I got two of these as a gift. The first one barely trickeled the second one didn't work at all. very disapointed as I was looking forward to having one of these but w/ 2 that don't work I'm giving up on the idea.

It's a wonder how annoying this unassuming little thing can be. I pulled it out the box thinking "oh, how cute!" Well, let me tell you, it ain't so cute once you turn it on. As others have said, it has a rather noisy motor. You probably won't notice it much if other things are going on in the room, but when it's all quiet and you just want to relax and read a book, then it gets annoying. If you have bad hearing, or if you find motor noise a "soothing meditation sound", then I guess it won't bother you. As for me, it's going back in the box today.

This looks really good on the package. If you believe the marketing, you will be gazing mediatingly at water flowing over stones for the $19.95 or whatever deal you find.

Don't waste your money, the little battery powered motor inside the thing makes a whirring noise that is much less than soothing. Did they even test their product??

This is a cute little fountain, and I purchased it for a gift. Good thing I tried it before gifting because it didn't work! The motor ran, barely, and did not pump water. Had to send it back to Amazon.

I was super excited to get this meditation fountain for my Dad's office, just so it could have a nice running water sound. It was the perfect idea! Then we opened it and started running it. We can only hear the motor. The water pressure isn't strong enough or the different pools aren't far enough apart so you don't hear any running water. What a disappointment! But it looks pretty cool and my mom likes it so I guess we'll keep it.

Do not buy. Got one at Family Dollar for $5. Read the back to see if batteries were included, which is when i noticed the warning about containing cancer causing chemicals. Totally overlooked it, and gave it a shot anyway. Water pumps fine, but you can't hear yourself think over the ERRRR sound. Going to send a letter to the company about how much they fail now. I figured i got what i paid for, but people are spending more than that for this crap? Should be illegal.
