About the Author
Sarah Raven is a broadcaster, teacher and writer. She has made regular appearances on Gardeners' World, the BBC's flagship gardening programme; she runs her own cookery and gardening school at Perch Hill in East Sussex; and she is the author of The Cutting Garden, Sarah Raven's Garden Cookbook (which was the Guild of Food Writers Cookery Book of the Year 2008) and Sarah Raven's Complete Christmas. Jonathan Buckley specialises in garden and plant photography and has been working with Sarah Raven, taking photographs at Perch Hill, for over ten years. He was awarded the title Garden Writers' Guild Features Photographer of the Year in 2004.

Absolutely first class cook book for family & friends,

I actually saw an couple of the recipes from Sarah Raven's new book Food for Friends and Family in a magazine and I was so impressed with it. So impressed that my husband immediately cooked the Chicken Stuffed with Garden Herbs the very next night and it was absolutely delicious. Fuelled by a love of good food, I then purchased the book and am in love with it. Even more lovely recipes to try. Ideal for entertaining friends and family.

Same Book, Different Title,

Once again, this author has published the same book under two different titles. "Fresh from the Garden: Food to Share with Family & Friends" and "Food for Friends & Family" are the same books, just one is an English publication and one is American. Do not buy both. As always, I am impressed with Ms. Raven's interesting use of produce, I just wish she'd stop confusing the public by giving the same book two different titles.
