This is a well written, sexy novel about a young woman named Sarah, who finally explores the sexual dreams she has spent her life denying. She gets the courage to admit her submissive, masochistic needs when a girlfriend tells her playfully about her mild D/s experiences with her boyfriend. Sarah goes with her friend to the SM clubs and has lots of sexy, explicit adventures with Dominants and would-be dominants. She meets a "Master" who satisfies her physical needs but doesn't touch her spiritual ones. Then one day she applies for 'training' via a want-ad in an exclusive BDSM magazine and meets Lawrence, the mysterious trainer who takes her over, mind, body and finally soul. Very romantic and filled with lots of sexy, spicy BDSM scenes including whipping, caning, bondage, girl-girl sex and a final party scene where Sarah is used and abused by all present. An excellent read, which reminded this reader of the Marketplace trilogy in terms of character development, style and believability.

This is a superb book. The author has delved deeply into the mind and motivations of the s/m submissive and brought it to reality for her readers. The metamorphosis of Sarah, as she travels from her smug manipulative but unfulfilled persona, to realize her full desire and potential as the full-time beloved submissive of her Master is a feast for the senses. Claire Thompson describes scenes which pull you inside them as you live Sarah's growth with her. Not only did I buy a copy, but I got two more for friends who adored it as well. Don't miss it.

This is a wonderful story of a woman's deepest desires that she has kept hidden inside for many years. This book is for any women who has a strong desire to submit to a Master and who desires strong strict control. This book had me in another world, it touched deep feelings in myself that I would never admit to anyone. I'm hoping that my husband will read this book so that we can share my fantasies. A must for those in D/s relationships.
