Book Description

May 17, 2005
“This is like Harry Potter, but for girls.”

“The jig reminds me of the dancing in the Titanic movie!”

“I thought the combination of a story, the dance and a video was wonderful, as well as educational!”

Sara Charm’s serendipitous adventures are a modern-day fairytale! Wearing magical dance slippers she travels back into time and uncovers the mystery of her Great Grandma, Katie O’Charm, an Irish fairy. Sara’s shoes whisk her back to 1925 Ireland, 1910 Russia and 1955 Cuba.
Wearing Irish Jig shoes she performs an Irish Step dance to her Papa’s fiddling in the village pub. Tying on ballet slippers transforms her into the prima ballerina in the Russian Folk Tales drama. Clicking the heels of a pair of Latin pumps she feels her body swaying to the rhythms of a tango tune dancing Flamenco.
Discovering that she is a fairy is only half of her story. It is only half of yours too! Order the unique instructional dance video and you too can learn to dance! Meet Sara! She will show you how step by step. It’s fun and exciting! Order at www.sarandipitous.com.

Lou Ann has enjoyed an award-winning career in the field of publishing and attended Ringling School of Arts in Sarasota, FL. 5.0 out of 5 stars My Granddaughter's excitement from this wonderful book, September 19, 2005
By
This review is from: Sarandipitous Slippers: Trilogy 1 (Hardcover)
I read "Sarandipitous Slippers" with my granddaughter. She was fascinated with the story and from the DVD video, she learned all the dances. She pretended to jump into the magical mist and travel with Sara to Ireland, Russia, and Cuba. She wants to solve the Ridgely Maryland Mystery and can't wait for Trilogy 2.

On Saturdays, she has her friends over and they talk about Sara's journeys, have fun doing the workbook, and dancing the Irish Jig, Russian Folk Ballet, and Cuban Flamenco. What a wonderful experience this book has given her!

5.0 out of 5 stars READ, TRAVEL & DANCE, August 26, 2005
This review is from: Sarandipitous Slippers: Trilogy 1 (Hardcover)
Each Chapter teaches a dance step by video. What a great way to entertain my young nieces! They loved the dancing socks!

Sara Charm's sense of humor and her dancing magical adventures delighted us. She makes friends with an Irish leprechaun, befriends her deceased Great Grandpa, a world famous artist during the Russian Revolution and even dances on a tropical Cuban beach with whimsical dolphins.
