Book Description

May 27, 2012
Can dreams be premonitions? Up until now, Sara had lived a comfortable, uneventful life with her husband Mark. Empty nesters, she and Mark had grown apart over the years. One night brought a knock on the door, with two officers delivering shocking news. Sara’s world would never be the same again. Tragedy thrust Sara into a spiral of depression, self-destruction and horrific nightmares from which she could not return on her own. Jenny, Sara’s daughter, moved back home to help, but brought a whole new set of dilemmas for the family to face. Old relationships resurfaced, and friendships, old and new, became complicated. Would Sara and Jenny be able to overcome the endless obstacles together, or would the burdens that plagued each woman keep them from ever finding true balance in their lives?

The mundane lives of Sara and Jenny are about to take many unexpected turns, and those turns take the reader along on their unpredictable, white-knuckle, hairpin curves into places neither Sara nor Jenny would ever have dreamt. Except they did dream them. Next time you lay your head on your pillow and follow what you believe to be some non-sensical fantasy, you might think twice before dismissing those dreams as simple, meaningless ramblings of the brain. Especially so, after reading this first, suspense-packed novella by Terri Sonoda, that will have you questioning whether dreams are just dreams, or are they a perfectly-organized, early-warning system sending us cautionary messages, to be heeded in our waking lives? And will you mind your dreams more carefully, as Sara learned to do? Perhaps you should. So find a cozy corner and plan to stay for a while. You'll find this well-written, beautifully crafted book impossible to put down, once you've dared to open its cover!

2.0 out of 5 stars I really tried....
I was only able to get just over halfway through this book and had to give up. While the storyline is somewhat suspenseful, the writing was just too amateurish.
