Amazing documentary of a time in music.,

An enticing glimpse into Rio in the 60s, but the copy I got from Netflix is in Portugese with Korean subtitles! While it is no less fascinating to see these original talents in casual settings, it would be nice to have English for the interviews.I was amazed and pleased to see the deceased husband of Anne in Un Homme et une Femme is Barouh himself, and to see him doing the interviews and lsitening in this very simple elegant documentary. Lovers of Brasilian music must see this! I especially love that the micropohne is always present, no fakery or hiding here. It is like family movies but what a fabulous family! |
