4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first one but...., August 29, 2000
By "gdatlanta" (Atlanta, Georgia USA) - See all my reviews
This little collection has a few real gems on it, however, there's also quite a bit of stuff that could have been left off. There is some demo material and some live tracks that lack luster, although they do provide a little insight into the band and give a slight glimpse of their live sound. There are a few tracks which really stand out well - it validates the purchase of the CD - especially if you're already a fan of I.G. or S.T. If this is your first experience with I.G., I would strongly recommend their first "The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move" CD - this will have a greater impact than this CD or the one that followed this one. Sarsippius III returns to narrate this CD, instead of simply annoying security in their first release. This band rocks - the guitarist is phenomenal - bass is unbelievable - drummer is very enthusiastic. Awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Addictively funkaholic, December 7, 2006
By Pascal Beidler "jumpin' j" (L-2273 Luxembourg, Luxembourg) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Great, refreshing and original funky metal. The basslines are incredibly groovy and the hole sound is tight. Special emphasis to the the coverversion of Led Zepplin's 'Immigrant song'. Never heard such a witty interpretation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funk Metal to the Immigrant Song..., June 9, 2009
By PET (Timisoara, Romania) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sarsippius' Ark (Audio CD)
This album is simply awasome! Drums, Guitars ... not to mention the FUNKY BASS. YEaa...

I love the Immigrant Song. I can't belove how much they changed it but it still sounds as the cover.

Don't Stop Sphread The Jam ... listen to the bass line on 0:25
Three Headed Mind Pollution ... is a nice fast tempo song

Actually, just listen to all the songs, they are awasome.
