I HAVE ORDERED THIS AND YOU CAN USE IT ON BAKED FRIES, CRABCAKES, CHICKEN OR FISH AND IF YOU LIKE FISH AND CHIPS THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY. A CLOSE 2ND MIGHT BE CROSSE AND BLACKWELLS WHICH I FOUND IN A SMALL TOWN SAFEWAY. WHY NOT TRY THE BEST AND LIVE A LITTLE, BEST REGARDS AND BEST TASTE!

I won't even consider eating fish & chips without a good malt vinegar. Several places in my area serve Heinz "gourmet" malt vinegar, which I find to be very weak in flavor. Sarson's is much better than Heinz, but rates second in my opinion to the London Pub brand. On my tongue, Sarson's comes across as brighter, with a faint apple cider taste. I find that the London Pub brand has a deeper, perhaps more "malty" flavor. The other thing I don't like about Sarson's is that there's no shaker in the top of the 10 ounce bottle. You'll have to transfer the contents to another container or insert your own "stopper" if you want to shake it on fish & chips.
