Made of Superstone, this 15-inch pottery round absorbs moisture and distributes heat evenly so your crust turns out crisp and evenly browned. A rack made of stainless steel transforms the stone from a baking brick to a stay-hot serving platter, and a wheel-style pizza cutter with a wooden handle completes the set. Cleanup is easy: simply scrub with warm water (soap is not recommended for either the stone or the board). Besides pizza, the Superstone has numerous other baking uses. While it lasted, the pizza stone worked great. Unfortunately, after 6 uses in accordance with the instructions provided, i.e., pre-heating the oven with the stone in the oven, and not putting anything frozen on the stone, the pizza stone split in two. The stone is too thin. The pizza cutter is cheaply made, it bends from side to side as you cut a pizza, especially if while you are trying to cut through the edge crust. The pizza peel is the best part of the package. It is the right size and weight for home made pizzas. The handle is comfortable, and the board is smooth. I have worked in pizza restaurants in my youth, and this peel is as good as anything I have used.

Much like MANY of the other reviewers have noted, this product is VERY cheaply made. It is too thin for a pizza stone and as others have written, the pizza cutter is cheaply made as well. My wife and I received ours as a wedding gift and kept it in the box for several years. When I finally opened it, thoroughly read and followed the directions and used it for the FIRST TIME, it cracked down the middle just like other reviewers have noted. Frankly, I'm surprised this company is still in business making garbage like this.

Had similar experience with mine..."stone" broke after about 10 pizzas (even with following the instructions! ), rendering the kit useless! And the cutting wheel is one of the cheapest versions you'll ever see! NOT worth more than $10.
