I know many people that swear by their Pampered Chef baking stones. Wanting to see what all the fuss is about, I looked into getting one for myself. Unfortunately, the Pampered Chef ones are a bit too pricey.

I found this one and thought I'd try it out. It's a much better deal and does the same thing as Pampered Chef. In fact, after watching my friends with their high priced stones, I think this one is easier to clean.

If you are interested in a quality baking stone, I highly recommend buying this one and skipping the Pampered Chef catalog.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy a baking stone. No more burned pizza, does great with rolls too!

I ordered this stone after we accidentally dropped and broke our Pampered Chef stone. Honestly, I like the Pampered Chef one a bit better, but this is a good replacement. The metal handle that this comes with is more shallow than I like, so we tossed it and kept the old one. The pizza cutter is a bit flimsy. But the stone itself--no complaints!

I guess I was spoiled in having one of the original baking stones made in the midwest someplace and made in the 80's... the new one does not look nearly as well made, time will tell...

Being an avid amateur cook, it was inevitable that pizza would be explored. While my experience has been limited to the chain-produced pizza, I deem it unhealthy. Resolving to embark on creating healthy versions, my research recommended the baking stone. Now, 100 or so pizzas later, some baked without but most baked with, I can say that a stone is a must. Insofar as this stone as opposed to others available, I have no experience. I do know that this stone has baked a lot of pizzas and is ready for many more. I have not tried baking anything else on it. For pizzas, I can't imagine a better product for home use. It is not a be all, end all for one's quest for pizza nirvana, but it does help with the journey. And, healthy pizzas are simple and surprisingly delicious. The rack is useful for maneuvering the hot stone without actually handling the stone itself. The cutter is fine if you don't have one but otherwise, it's a waste.

I have used this stone for years with no issues. Allows me to make the crusts on my homeade pizzas exactly like I like them - nice and crisp. I don't use the cutter, but the stone is quality to me and I have been pleased with it. This is my first stone so I have nothing to compare it to, but hey how much can a stone do? It works great, gets hot, and will last for many years if you are careful with it.

I've only had a chance to use this once so far, but the pizza crust turned out well. The handles are very convenient for lifting the stone in and out of the oven.

I love this stone. I cook everything on it, cookies, pizza, pepperoni rolls, etc.
