After researching this porduct it is not considered safe and BPA free. Some but not all sassy toys are bpa-free. It doesnt make sense to buy BPA free bottles and not toys.

I initially bought this set because I wanted to change out the hanging toys on my daughter's Boppy activity center for variety. She loved these!! They have various rubber surfaces that she liked to chew and touch. Very colorful, encouraged her to grab for them. During teething these are really great--you can put all of these in the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning (even the fish). Great value for the money.

This is the perfect set of toys for a teething baby. Not only are they strong and durable, they taste clean rather than like rubber. Just do me one favor: don't ask me how I know that....

Best thing about this package is that you get 5 toys for one price, one for the crib, changing station, diaper bag and grandmas with one to rotate. Most of them can be hooked onto car seats or play gyms for added fun. They are colorful, sturdy and fun!

This 5 piece set is great. My son is only 2 months old, but he is starting to stare at these items and his eyes just get so big. Slowly he is starting to "talk" to some of them as well. The one that has the mirror on one side and a face on the other is his favorite. Loves to see himself. This will be a great item as he progresses in age and to take in the stroller and on the road. The colors are great for beginniers to toddlers. With some of the items also as teethers, it's twice as nice.

So after reading some reviews about this product not being BPA free, I took a chance with the lighting deal offer and hoped for the best. My wife called Sassy and left a message to be contacted back regarding these toys. Here is what my wife wrote for the review.

"On the toy itself, you will see a very small circle with a code on it - very hard to read. If the code is T5, your toy was made after 2010 and is BPA free. If the code is something different, then it is LIKELY that your toy was made prior to 2010 and MAY not be BPA free. I called Sassy and they got back to me within a couple days. If you're not sure about your product, I recommend contacting Sassy directly."

The toys appear to be a big hit with my five month old daughter!

This product has been excellent for my granddaughter. Although made in China these toys do not have the lead problem others have had. If you are looking for baby toys, do the research first to make sure they are safe.

My baby can't decide which toy he likes most. The fish is good for kissing, the phone is fun to rattle and smack our heads with, the ring with rings on is easy to hold and has a lot of fun textures to touch and watch move, the smiley face and mirror rattle are harder to hold yet (15 weeks old), but we LOVE that one too, the teething butterfly is great to hold, but chewing it hasn't quite made us happy yet. These are the perfect starter toys for a new baby. GREAT purchase!

Unique set, very nice. My niece likes the, granted she's a bit small to let me know but I can see it in her eyes. Very colorful and each one is different, Highly recommend for baby!

My daughter chews on them constantly since she started teething. So far, her favs are the ring and the smiley face and recently she seemed interested in the fish aswell. Very easy to clean. Highly recommended.
