5.0 out of 5 stars Best bottles you can find!
We tried Avent, Platex and Dr. Browns. These are the best bottles by far!

PROs:

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice design, some flaws
I saw a friend with these bottles and as the BPA scare was in full effect, I stopped using other bottles and bought these as they're advertised as BPA-Free. They're fine and attractive enough (not that that's very important in a bottle). They are a bit fiddly as there are six pieces to each bottle. That's six individual items to wash every time you use one...it's a lot...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bottles you can find!, December 10, 2006
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
We tried Avent, Platex and Dr. Browns. These are the best bottles by far!

PROs:
* The nipples are the only kind my daughter would use. We bought all of the nipples we could find once I was starting to wean off of nursing and she wouldn't take any of them until we found these. They are more pliable and have a flat shape. Perfect.
* They are super easy to clean because they come apart entirely.
* They reduce the amount of air your child gets in her tummy because she doesn't have to unlatch during feeding at all.

CONs:
* The lids are a little hard to get off if you hands are wet.
* Make sure you screw the bottom on tight or it can leak (we have only had this problem one time - once you realize what you have done wrong, you won't do it again)
* They are a little bottom heavy. It took a while for my daughter to learn how to hold the bottle by herself because the bottoms are heavier than other bottles.

I have used these bottles for all three of my kids and I have not had to replace one part. I would not use another bottle, ever.

Good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars The only ones that worked for my baby girl., December 2, 2006
By
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
PROs: It works! The silcone nipple is the best for breastfed or non-breastfed babies! It's attractive! Other babies attack me for it! You can really do a good cleaning on it because you can take it completely apart; top and bottom.
CONs: It's expensive. The odd shape makes it difficult to pack or use on standard bottle warmers and carriers. It can leak if you don't assemble them right.

My daughter didn't drink much milk. I had her on formula and breastmilk to get her to gain weight, but she kept to 1 to 2 oz. of milk until I finally switched to these bottles. I went back to work when she was 6 months and had a horrible clogged duct when she was 7 months. I started using bottles more often. I had been alternating with Avent and Playtex because I had the Playtex Pump and Avent has always been reputable and available. I had purchased a MAM bottle before she was born because it looked adorable, but when I tested it, I noticed that you really have to make sure you screw everything on tightly and properly or it would just leak and, to be honest, I didn't know if I would have the patience for that. I did love the fact that you can take it completely apart to make sure it is thoroughly clean. My daughter seemed to have problems with the Avent and Playtex. I don't know if it was gas or colic or what and she was already in the most hypoallergenic formula, so I decided to give the MAM bottles a try. Sure enough she loved it. By her 1st birthday she was finally drinking 3 to 4 oz. and a couple of months after she was drinking 4 to 5 oz. Now I'm looking to buy more bottles for my 2nd baby, because the Pros really outweight the Cons in my book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Preemies love it!, April 4, 2008
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
I purchased these bottles online because they were BPA free. When my twin preemies first came home this nipple was the only one they would comfortably suck from without choking. There are a few parts to take apart and clean, but once you get used to putting them together you can easily get bottles ready at 3 in the morning with 2 hours sleep! No gas and spit up here,,, i have very content babies. I just wished they would sell these bottles in local stores with other sassy products. I have boy/girl twins and its easy to tell which bottle is for what baby with the different colors. Highly recommended and they are stylish too!

I started with Playtex and Dr. Brown's bottles, but after researching BPA I ordered these. I was nervous that there would be a problem since the nipples are so different, but after a day she took to them just fine. These bottles are NOT difficult to clean, and much easier to clean than the Dr Brown bottles. I have two different bottle warmers, a Munchkin and a First years, and the bottle fits in both just fine. Also, I had difficulty breast feeding due to latch on problems, but after a few weeks feeding off of these bottles, my daughter latches on and breastfeeds just fine. Which is a dream come true when dealing with the irritation of pumping all day long. Much cheaper than the Born Free's as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maddie's Mom, August 13, 2009
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
These bottles are fantastic. I have used them with my daughter for almost 18 months (just weaned her from the bottle) and they were perfect. She instantly took to them and refused any other bottle. I rarely had issues with leaking and when I did it was usually operator error. They are easy to use and easy to clean.

These bottles are a MUST HAVE for your baby. Less spit up, less belly aches, and you'll never go back to those other brands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy, safe and cute, May 2, 2009
By
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
I bought these bottles when I found out they were BPA free, and also because they look so cute. I also bought some others so my baby would try. It was the only nipple she liked so I kept using them. The nipple fits other bottles so some times we use them apart.
The fact that they have holes in the bottom for venting makes them quite unique, but for me its quite scary because I think water could come inside, so I usualy warm the milk before.
They are wide in the bottom, so they dont fit regular cases, sterilizers, warmers, but anyone can smart out that. Also having so many parts makes washing a bit difficult.
I believe they have increased in price tremendously, since I bought them about 8 months ago maybe by half the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Bottle there is, April 2, 2009
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
Can't say enough about how great these are. They vent very well so the nipple never collapses and our daughter can drink the whole bottle without a problem. Another option is the Evenflo glass bottles. They are cheap and the nipples on those vent too so there is never a problem with nipple collapsing. I definitely recommend these for anybody who wants plastic BPA free bottles. If you want glass, go with the Evenflo bottles. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED with either, guaranteed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute but not functional, January 26, 2009
This review is from: Sassy Baby's Mam 5 oz. Girl 3 pack Bottle (Baby Product)
I bought these and quickly returned them. Seems that a design team had all the looks in mind for this product but not functionality. These things leaked so bad that I wasted a lot of milk!! I tried re-tightening the lid and bottom. I used each bottle thinking just one was not working. Nope all the same. Messy, messy, messy and not worth it!

Try the Soothie bottles. We love those!!
