My 14 month old loves playing with these in the bath.
Suné Hull
We love this set for our three-year-old because it has enough letters to spell her name and many other simple words.
Micah Joseph
They are multi-colored, stick to the bathtub/tile wall, and dry easily.

They were so excited when I got these for them. There is a good selection of letters & numbers & they have fun patterns on them too. When slightly wet they will stick to the bathtub & tiles which is fun. Also as they are foam pieces they are less likely to hold water to cause mildew.

A tip to clean them though, is to throw them in the washing machine in one of those zippered 'linen' bags. Just to give them that fresh feel again.

These appliques are smaller than the regular ones I found in Target by Sassy. There are two set of uppercase alphabets and numbers and also some extra letters that we use more often. thus it is easier for my 4-year-old son to spell some more complicated words. They are smaller, but since we have a small bath tub, I actually prefer the smaller size. Munchkin has a similar product with 84 pieces but only come in with two sets of lowercase alphabets and numbers. It looks like they coming from the same maneufacture... why don't they work together and put one set uppercase and one set of lowercase in each product?? just a suggestion.

These foam letters and numbers are very cute. I love the designs on them. My son just started using them in the bath and he has a blast. I am guessing that he will probably chew through them since they are foam but there are so many that we will have them for a while. Even if we have to throw one out every once in a while. You also have to really read the description because these are only about an inch and a half tall. I bought them thinking they were the bigger ones. Oh well...they will do the job. :)

Letters are small. I know it said 1.5 inches and I ordered them anyways. I should of went with the bigger letters. But it sticks well to the shower and it was inexpensive.

What's pictured is what I ordered but not what I received. These show patterned pieces, mine are plain. They came in a bucket that they will not fit back into, which is dumb, but I guess since they're bath toys I wouldn't store them in the bucket anyway. Just a little lame that I'd have to puzzle piece them into the bucket if I wanted to store them there.
The V's and A's look really similar, minus a cut out for the As and the W's and M's are the same.

these aren't as cool as they look. We haven't used them in the bath yet so I can't say if they'll work there. I may return them... the picture is definitely enhanced. The pieces aren't that bright and cheery.

::EDIT:: we have used them in the bath, they stick fine. My son gets the 4s As and Vs mixed up because they are all very similar.

First of all, I'm fairly certain the picture is of the wrong product. I ordered this in December, and what I got was small, solid-colored (not patterned) pieces in a round container, which the pieces do not go back into unless you have the patience of a saint. (The third picture, which someone else uploaded, which shows the round container next to a Sharpie to show the size, is what I received). My 2-year-old niece seemed to like them, though, and I noticed they were in the bathtub the last time I was there, so she is still using them 5 months later. They seem to stick to the walls pretty well, and there are enough letters in it to spell more complex words, as opposed to some sets I've seen that only include one of each letter. They are small and made out of foam, so I would consider that when purchasing for younger children if they still put things in their mouths (recommended age is 3+ presumably for that reason), but if you restrict usage to bathtime when you'll be watching them anyway, it shouldn't be a problem. All in all, it's good educational fun for a low price.

September 2011 update:
It seems they have updated the main picture, it now matches what I received, although the difference was minor, anyway. The niece I bought them for is now nearly 4 and still getting use out of these. Her 1 1/2 year old sister will likely be using them soon, too (although she is still putting into her mouth anything that can't be nailed down, so I wouldn't give them to her just yet).

The letters were a lot smaller than they look in the picture. I am sure they will still be just as fun to play with, but was hoping for the price that they would be a little bigger.

I was on the hunt for a teething toy for my 6-month old. He was starting to teethe and the usual teethers didn't seem to interest him much. We were browsing at a toy store and saw these, and I thought these would suit our purposes now (teething) as well as later (bathtime fun and learning letters/numbers).

The baby is now 8 months old and continues to enjoy these. He uses them for teething (they are made from a firm foam rubber) and he just enjoys playing with them the way you might play with blocks. He has a Tupperware tub filled with several of these and from among his other everyday toys, and he almost always seeks these out first before fancier toys. Highly recommend.
