5.0 out of 5 stars Great design, great toy
I bought this toy to hang from my infant daughter's car seat the day after she screamed nonstop in that seat while we were eating in a restaurant. I really like the assortment of hanging toys. The turtle has a mirror in the belly, the snail is a rattle and the butterfly is filled with colorful beads to shake. I also like that I can hang the toy from the car seat handle...

3.0 out of 5 stars Lost my suction
We suctioned this onto the window of our car. Within about 4 days, the suction part flattened out, losing the concave suction ability. This was a shame because our baby was so captivated by it. It's very multipurpose so not all is lost, but very disappointed about our defective suction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great design, great toy, May 24, 2005
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
I bought this toy to hang from my infant daughter's car seat the day after she screamed nonstop in that seat while we were eating in a restaurant. I really like the assortment of hanging toys. The turtle has a mirror in the belly, the snail is a rattle and the butterfly is filled with colorful beads to shake. I also like that I can hang the toy from the car seat handle in two ways - one to keep the hanging toys up high and spread out, the other to keep them hanging lower and group close together. But, my favorite feature is the car-window hanger. I might be tempted to keep the car seat handle up while we're driving so my baby could look at the toy (which would be a safety hazard), but having the suction cup on the window lets me move the toy off the car seat but still let my baby play with it while we're driving. A great design and a great toy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Peace & Quiet in the Car!, December 14, 2004
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
My 3-1/2 month old would scream every time I put him in the car. I would have to drive with one hand on the steering wheel, and one hand keeping his pacifier in his mouth. I attached this mobile to his infant carrier and used it for the first time today. He was so mesmerized by the dangling bugs that I didn't hear a peep out of him the whole car ride!! Totally worth the ten dollars I paid for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could it get any better?, April 4, 2006
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
Could it get any better? I don't think so. This is the best $10 I've spent so far. We take this mobile everywhere! It works in the car, either on the window or on the infant seat handle. Also, I hang it in my pack-n-play since the mobile that came with it is so boring. I have also used it on the window above the rocking chair for our son to look at during feedings! I love this product & so does our son; he never seems to tire of staring at it and as he gets older different parts interest him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea!!!!!, October 26, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
I researched this idea over and over. I could not decide which product to get as I knew I wanted something unique that would stimulate baby. THIS IS IT!!! The suction cup can stay on the window and the caterpillar and toys can come off and attach to your stroller or infant seat with magnets inside the fabric. WHen the car is in motion, so is the toy allowing baby fun for hours!!! I highly recommend this one - Just be careful not to knock it off when the door is open!!! A++++++++++++

I registered for this item because it can be used with the suction for the window or on the carseat handle or stroller with magnets. It has bright colors that are great and my baby loves looking at herself in the mirror. The velcro is a very small piece that holds the toys on and they do fall off sometimes. The suction cup would also fall off into my daughters lap, so I just started hanging the toy on the clothes hook and that works fine. For 10 dollars it is very cute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Fun!, April 28, 2004
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
I've been using this for six months now and my daughter loves it! I bought it for her car seat handle, but when I got it home I wound up sticking the mobile on our dresser's mirror where we have a changing station. When we first brought her home she enjoyed just looking at the colors and smiles on the creatures, but now she's a grabbing fool! The little animals are just held on by velcro so she pulls them off and shoves them in her mouth which keeps her occupied while I change her. We have used it from time to time on the car seat handle as well which works just as well. Bright, happy and fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish We'd Gotten It Sooner!!, November 26, 2004

We received this mobile as a gift when our second child was 3 months old. Mostly we used it attached to the bar of his infant carrier. He LOVED it. He enjoyed batting at his new "friends". He also liked to pull them closer for a good chewing. This ended car time fussing!!

I wish we had gotten it with our first baby!! It is inexpensive and SO worth every penny!

2.0 out of 5 stars Caterpillar doesn't stay together - UPDATE, January 29, 2007

I can't get the caterpillar to stay together in a circle. It has a magnet in the head and tail but doesn't stay together. Not really a mobile if it doesn't stay together. Also hangs weird without it being in a circle.

3/5/07 UPDATE
I contacted Sassy about the caterpillar not staying together. Their customer service was excellent. Responded the same day that they would send me a postage paid envelop to return the product. Once they received the defective mobile they sent me a new one and it stays together much better. I was very impressed with their customer service!

I couldn't change the amount of stars I originally gave but I would give it 4 stars now based on the customer service and the quality of the replacement they sent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Entertainment, May 14, 2005
This review is from: Sassy Caterpillar Mobile With Suction Arm (Toy)
My son loves this! I don't use it on the window of my car, but I use it on the handle of his infant car seat. He can look at this and entertain himself while we are out and about, even when we are not in the car.
