This is the one book that my 6 month old daughter actually pays attention to. The short, two-word rhyming phrases on each page and brightly colored pictures with black and white checked edges are perfect for babies' need for bright color and pattern. It's also soft plastic which is better for this age than the board books since everything ends up in their mouth! When books are scattered in front of her play mat this is the book she gravitates toward. I am a teacher and I have to say I'm waiting for the day when "Goodnight Moon" or "The Velveteen Rabbit" becomes her favorite book, but until then we'll be happily reading "Hello Bee, Hello Me," and I'll be buying it for all my friends having babies!

This is a great book! My son has loved reading this book ever since we bought it (at about 3 months). He is six months now and he not only loves reading it but it is one of his favorite things to chew on now! I love that it rhymes and it is repetitive. It starts off by showing a bee on one side of the page and it says "Hello Bee". Then on the next page it has a mirror and says "Hello Me". The mirrors inside are pretty amazing for being inside of a book.
The book then says hello to a couple different animals and then back to "Hello bee, Hello Me". My son and I love it!

This has been my 10 month old son's favorite book since he was born. It saved us on a long airplane ride. (Which is why I was devestated when I realized that I left it on the plane!). I've since bought 4 more so I always have one at my fingertips. He turns the pages himself and laughs at every page. The book is soft & easy to clean. The illustrations are perfect for babies. A must have!

This book is so wonderful to read to your baby! It is too bad that you can't find it in stores anymore - only online. I used to buy it for all my new mom friends. My son would stare at it wide eyed as I read it to him then giggle and giggle! It has bright collars and fun rhyming words, plus a little mirror on the last page so he can look at himself. This is one we put in his baby box to save forever - his first book! It's fabulous and fun!

My son is 2 years old and still loves this book. He carries it everywhere and because it's made of plastic, it takes lots of abuse without falling apart like board books eventually do. The colors, shapes and the mirrors are all stimulating. Great for 3 months -2 years.

I got this for my 6 month old baby boy, he loved it. He's now 15 months and it is still a go-to toy for him. I take it with us - it's great for entertaining him quietly (like in church) and he plays with it much longer than he does other books. He is now beginning to "get" the mirror pages too which is fun.

This is a cute book overall. The eyes and smiley faces are a bit odd and my baby does not respond to them as well as other types of illustrations.

She loves to see herself in the mirror...this book make her laugh everytime she open it. This is great because its plastic so its not broken yet not unlike the other book she has.

My daughter loves this book. I love that it's easy to clean, safe for her to play with and has very contrasting pictures. The mirrors are a great way to introduce your baby to "self" because of the context provided in naming the other animals. It's also very fun to say the animal's noises as you introduce them :)

I was looking for a book that my 7-month-old could hold and turn pages--I won't let her destroy her board books--and this fit the ticket. She loves the bright pictures, loves the rhymes, and REALLY loves to chew and mash this book without me trying to pry it from her hands! Would definitely buy it again.
