First of all, it is really hard to bounce.

After a couple of minutes he leaned too far to one side and hit his forehead on the door frame!

I don't recommend it but every baby is different.

i bought this for my daughter at 4 1/2 months(its recommended for babies 4 months and up) she would never really jump in it so i thought she just wasn't the jumping type. i was sad that i had wasted $35. i continued to place her in it, because she didn't hate it, she would just sort of sit there. well i came across a graco jumper for really cheap so i decided to try it out since ive seen children have so much fun with these....and she LOVED it. she jumps around like crazy in her graco. the way the spring works on the graco is much more sensitive and you dont have to do much to bounce around, with the sassy you do. Also the graco supports on both sides and the back while the sassy only supports one on each side which makes your baby lean toward the side and isn't level. this sassy is more of a bucket seat so your child will also sit very low and my daughter was unable to have her arms out, the graco sits higher and my daughter can play with stuff on the tray. i dont know why sassy even adds those toys to the front when a child can't even grab them. i recommend the Graco Jumpers that come with a tray in front.

I have returned this jumper. It is the first baby toy I have returned.

My son is 4.5 months old and loves the Fisher-Price Jumperoo. We wanted a lower-priced and different (for variety) toy for my parents' house. Unlike us, they have doorways appropriate for a doorway jumper, and this one looked so colorful and fun!

Complaints:
1. My son did not appear comfortable in this toy. He was constantly leaning to one side or another, never balanced.
2. It looks like it would be adjustable to almost any height, but really there is velcro only on a small part of the cord, so it doesn't adjust much at all.
3. The toys are silly and did not interest him at all.
4. It just wasn't very springy. He flies around in the jumperoo and could barely jump at all in this toy.

I don't know if the problem is doorway jumpers versus jumperoos, as I have not tried another doorway jumper, so I did not give the single star I think the product deserves. But based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this jumper.

My 6 month old son loves this jumper. We put him in it when he was 2 months old, a little early, and put stuffed animals and blankets to hold him upright. Now that he is 6 months old, he is able to jump around in it himself and loves it! He does lean in one direction sometimes but he likes that because it helps him to move around more and twist the rope around. Then he can pick up his feet and twirls around. Usually he is able to sit upright in it and will jump all around. I don't use the velcro at all - I think it was there to hold the parts together when it was in the box.

He likes the ladybug on it because it crinkles plus it is easy to chew on so it is usually pretty wet by the time he is done.

It is easy to take apart and clean. It goes really well in the washing machine and dries very quickly.

It is easy to move around and put in a different room. Usually it stays downstairs with the rest of his toys but when I want to work upstairs, it is easy for me to take it off the doorway and attach it to a doorway upstairs.

My only complaint: I am not a fan of the rope that holds the jumper; he seemed to get a little rope burn from it so I created fabric tubes to go around the rope and it works perfectly.

This is a great jumper - nice and padded and provides my son with hours of entertainment when he wants to stand upright and look around by himself!!!

We bought this after our 5 month old really like jumping in a different jumper at Grandpa's house. This Sassy Jumper was the only type we found which had a clamp that would fit over our crown molding (we have a house built in 1900). That is the only plus I can see about it.

the cons: our boy couldn't get upright to jump, the way the straps are that hold the jumper he was always leaning one way or the other. After a couple of minutes he leaned too far to one side and hit his forehead on the door frame! We took him out right away and boxed it back up. I had read the directions and had adjusted it to the best of my ability, so I believe it is a bad design.

The other jumper with tray and 3 straps is great, we'd get one of those except for the clamp won't fit. Do not buy this jumper, everything about it says 'cheap', and results in a dangerous item.

My husband and I did a lot of research jumpers and were set to buy a different one, but our son received this one as a gift when he was 4-1/2 months old. While it was not the one we were intending to purchase, we gave it a chance and are glad we did. He loved it from the start and still enjoys it now at 9 months. He will sometimes lean off to one side, but it's usually when he's taking a break after bouncing for a while. Now that he is pulling himself up and standing he seems to really enjoy bouncing all over the place. He'll bounce away while screaming with delight. I'll agree that the toys leave a little to be desired, but I just hook on whatever is his current favorite toy to the toy loops. I have found it to be very adjustable to different doorway heights and our growing baby. He's big for his age so we're just about to hit the weight limit, but we'll definitely hold on to it for baby #2 or to loan out to friends.
