5.0 out of 5 stars Takes on being Sassy and Single February 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This anthology has sassy women for sure! Although the women in each short story was unique, I thoroughly enjoyed two in particular.

Sandi Layne's "The M-Word". Her Amanda O'Grady has a certain something that draws men to her. She's a SWOG...Single Woman of God, and happy to be single, but they SMOG want more. I've actually seen this search in action and this was a funny reminder of my youth. I also loved this book that Ms. Layne wrote: Captive Irish Moon

Anne Baker's "Of Beer and Blogs" also made me smile. Her Sam was a joy to read! And I love the sense of humor that her Charlotte had.

I really need to look for more from these writers!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sassy indeed! February 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
A book full of short stories by several, different authors will, par force, be uneven in quality. Right? Well, not always. I actually found this mix of fun stories on a good level, certainly with different points of view, but most assuredly FUN. Which is all I ask for in a book called Sassy Singularity.
A couple of hours (yes, I'm a slow reader!) of laid-back, tongue-in-cheek fun, sitting in front of my fireplace.
Well done ladies, I liked it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sare's story (edited, not one, but 5 stars) February 18, 2012

I've read Sare's story in this anthology. Haven't read anything else yet. I don't want to say too much and spoil the funny, but it is clever with just enough satire. Definitely makes me want to read more.
