This product never worked from the second we got it home and plugged in. The camera won't stay on more than 10 seconds and it won't turn on when you try to run it on batteries. Tech support was no help at all. They said there was nothing they could do and that they were low on parts so returning it to them for a new one would take a long time. They suggested trying to return it to the store we got it from and buying a new. It was a waste of money and time. We didn't even get to the skype part so you could watch using live streaming video but I hear people have a lot of complications with that as well. Wish I researched this product more before purchasing it.
The Sassy Web Watch iC doesn't work with modern computers - that is, any computer running a 64-bit version of Windows. Since you have to go out of your way to buy a computer running a 32-bit version of Windows these days, that pretty much guarantees that you won't be able to install the driver for the USB radio receiver on any modern computer. I mentioned this to their customer service department, and they were completely uninterested in the trivial task of recompiling the driver for 64-bit Windows, so don't buy this hoping that it will one day work with a modern computer.
Even though you won't be able to watch the video feed over the internet, you can still use the video monitor to view the video feed from another room in the house. However, the reception is only so-so, and if your wife likes to sleep with this thing on and the volume all the way up like mine does, then you'll constantly be awakened by the humming and static bursts it periodically emits. If all you want is the video functionality, then honestly you could do alot better on price than this product. If you want internet connectivity, then you'd be better off setting up an infrared WiFi web cam with a built-in web server.

This product worked great. I am in the military and stationed away from my family. this worked great so we could use skype to see the baby and had a video monitor all in one. it is been 2 years now and the unit still works great. we do not use it for skype any more but still use it daily as a baby monitor. the battery operation with the video is no that great but what do you expect out of alkaline batteries.

Although it's not mentioned in the specs, you must have a home PC that is always running Skype to permit remote viewing access. Read more

It's better than most
This product has great range and is much better than the 3 other brands I tried first. The camera has a wide angle and the color is great. Comtecting to the computer was easy. Read more
