I have tried using this device several times without success. I have the twin dock for sata drives and it works very well. Just place both drives and press the button. But this one, I have not been able to get it going. I have tried several ways of connecting drives and have not been able to make it work. I even went online to see if anybody had instruction (which the product lacks) and could not find any.

i read reviews from this and some of their other products and you're taking a chance if you buy from them - on mine the SATA side works but the IDE side does not. The thumb drive slots only have power so i use it to power a fan to cool the 2tb drive.

This product worked once and then failed to recognize any HDD. It found flash drives but nothing else. Would not recommend the product. Seller was slow on response but took the product back without to much hassle. Not the best experience.

Will kill your IDE (PATA) 3.5in Disks!
The problem is actually much worse! My own case ended with 2 IDE disk start to smoke and burn out as soon as I plug then in this dock. Read more

Works Pretty good
