Considering the worsening condition of the world today it seems that an increasing number of people are considering the possibility that the Bible is the only true inspired Word of God and that Satan is the ruler of this world until Jesus returns. Lindsey once again helps to shed light on the Prince of Darkness and his deceptive schemes by tying scriptural references into a modern day context. Though this book was first published in 1972, its as true and interesting today as it was then, if not more so. Satan's greatest accomplishment to date has been convincing so many that he doesn't really exist. I'd recommend this book to anyone, Christian and non-Christian alike.

I have read all of Hal's books and a few of them i read back in the early 70's. This stuff is not "outdated" as some reviewers wrote but these books are the truth. All the evil that is going on in the world today you will read in all Hal's books. Let me tell you first hand people, this man knows what he is writing about and these books have changed my life for the better. I had fallen away from the church for about 25 years and after re-reading all of Hal's books, i have returned to the church. I am not ashamed to say that i want to be in the Kingdom of God someday.All of his books will change your life. Please do yourself a favor and buy them. Trust me, it will make a profound difference in your life.

This is a great book to read when you have doubts about what the supernatural is and how you are involved. The salvation message is given throughout the book along with many challenges to born again Christians. The book explains away many common myths about the Scripture.

Wow, what a read. Although it was written in the 1970's, the message has not changed. I found it very interesting that the author talks about "new age religion" such as Scientology as a foreboding problem and alas some thirty years later, it has become a main stream religion, leading many people away from Christ. So it was fascinating to learn what concerned Christians then and how it has materialized into a full blown obstruction to the Truth now.
The latter half of the book I read with one hand while holding the Bible in my other. I was amazed at how many scriptures I had overlooked in my reading.
I would definitely buy this book again.

Hal speaks of truth. The devil is alive and well on Planet Earth. I myself have experienced his power and hold on my life. I had dabbled in the occult and what Hal mentions in the book is very accurate. Read and beware. No need to fear. Jesus overcame Satan.

This book will never be out-dated, as it describes in detail how Satan disguises himself in the cloaks of this world. Hal Lindsey explains in the simpliest of language the array of Satan's tools such as the New Age movement, humanistic thinking, demonic manifestations, etc. An understanding of the enemy's arsenal is pinnacle to the Christian life and the stumbling blocks of this present darkness. Beyond the works of Satan, Lindsey gives us a glimmer of the awesome power of God as He works His Will through the Holy Spirit. This book is an absolute must-read for any new or mature Christian.

I read this in the 70's. Brought me back to god. Will make one understand the realities of our time.

This is one of the most intriguing books I've ever read. It answered a lot of questions I've had about the Bible. It is unfortunate that there are people who wish to insult the author and his work. Sadly, they have fallen prey to Satan's numerous traps that are examined in detail in this book. Great reading!

I couldn't begin to explain how amazing this book is. Hal Lindsay is very blessed.I dare anyone who isn't a believer in Christ to read "SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL ON PLANET EARTH" , from beginning to end.

This book is more telling now than when it was originally written over 40 years ago. With the current swing toward facism in our country due to the current administration and congress, America is about to go under fiscally, morally and radically. We will no longer be the world's super power, but at the mercy of the EU and China.
