First of all, Dr. Grady, has an outstanding grasp of America's history, regarding the past, and the present. The book is very well structured with thorough explanations, and I found it easy to read - always following a logical pattern. It is a book that once you start reading it, you can't put it down. He takes the reader from one event to another in a very thorough manner. He doesn't mince words, and tells it like it is, and isn't afraid to name names. He certainly isn't one for "political correctness." He weaves Scripture throughout the book in order to show how it applies to every situation/event that he describes. He appears to apply Scripture correctly in all cases. Furthermore, he shows both sides of the issues facing America today, i.e., the 9/11 tragedy, and the destruction of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. When he wants to make a point or show the reader what is important, he highlights those details in dark black. He has an accurate understanding of the apostasy which is taking place in the world today, especially here in the United States. The book overall is very informative, and he writes in a manner that catches the reader's interest. The topics in Dr. Grady's book are very well documented as shown per his endnotes, and well as his appendices. He strengthens the argument for the 1611 King James Bible while at the same time he explains why many of the modern day translations are perversions of God's Word or where they fall short of being accurately translated from the original texts. He has gone to great lengths in his research of the topics covered. I highly recommend that all Christians as well as unbelievers read his book, for Dr. Grady presents the Gospel in an easy understood manner. Foolish Christians today, upon reading Dr. Grady's book, will be incensed when he shows how so many have followed the false teachings of TV preachers, and evangelists who are admired by the world. His understanding of God's prophecies are very much in alignment with the Scripture. To quote Dr. Grady, he says, "The thesis of this volume is simple --- America was created by God for a particular mission and will ultimately be destroyed for abandoning the same."

The book's title says it all.

I have not finished the book yet, but I will soon. Some chapters have so much information I wanted to read them twice. For the Christian who is looking for something a bit different than the normal "fanning the flames of revival in these last days". Dr. Grady gives us a down to earth look at many sacred cows we Christians and other Americans have grabbed onto the shirt tails, hoping that they are who they claim to be (i.e. President Bush, Republican party, Rush Limbaugh, etc.). The word of God tells us to be sober, vigilant in these last days. To any person that has had even a slight interest in the history of the United States of America, it takes but one trip to our capital city, or to a national park like Gettysburg, or even a slight glance at many of the monuments and dedicatories on the buildings themselves, to see plainly that to our founding fathers, God, the Bible,(KJB)and Faith, all had a huge part in their thinking, philosophy, and behavior. The actual formation of our nation was credited to God by the very men who founded it. By the same token, it is just as evident that Satan too, was at work at the same time. Even when the New Testement was being God breathed to man, Paul the apostle tells us in II Cor. 2:17 .."For we are not as many, which corrupt the Word of God.... Satan loves to start his corruption early on, even at the beginning of something. What makes anyone think Satan would not have his hands in this country, a country that has stood by Israel, "the apple of God's eye", a country that sends out missionaries like no other nation on earth has. Of course Satan would want to mess with that. So, I shall stop here, want to get a book that will really get your brain juices flowing? GET THIS BOOK!!! Scott- Michigan

This nearly 1000 page exhaustive spiritual history of America is unlike any other book on the subject, partly due to the author and partly due to the approach. It is historical, commentary and even humorous [although some may object to the humor at points, I found it hilarious for the most part]. Unabashedly in your face, it will offend some on some subjects, but I had to tell myself to get over it and think about what he was trying to say. It freely quotes Scripture verses to support statements [some may take issue with application] and traces the early beginnings of America to today, gradually building a case for spiritual infiltration and degeneration. There is hope in the book, and strong spiritual encouragement, but as the book goes on you wade deeper and deeper into the mire of spiritual intrigue right up to recent events. This book is a survey and challenge to have both eyes wide open. Regardless of whether you agree on all points is not the issue--reading this book will make you more aware of how some people see America and you will learn a lot along the way. A politically non-correct frontal assault message that will leave you either cheering or complaining.

This book is slightly less harsh in its tone than "What Hath God Wrought," but it is a solid condemnatory analysis nonetheless. Mr. Grady has done some excellent research and consolidation in presenting the human machinations of a spiritual conspiracy in which all professing Christians are supposed to believe.

Covers some of the same territory as "What Hath God Wrought," but it is a distinctly different book. Contrary to the negative review of this book, it is not really aimed at stupid people at all. I find it hard to believe that stupid people would wade through 972 pages of writing dealing with sobering and documented historical data. To the contrary, all thinking Christians should be thankful that a book such as this was penned.

This book is a comprehensive work on how Satanic forces have been involved in the history of America and Great Britian from their inception. Starting from the beginning of time it traces the desendants of Noah through their untimate destination and the formation of "great" countries. The author has created a factually documented and thought provoking piece, albeit a large one,which points out America's place in the world, the reason for it, and the sad end. I don't know how Stewart MacLean could write a negative review of this book as it is a great read for christians and non-christians alike. Grady's scholarship is unquestioned and his direct "tell it like it is" approach leaves no stone unturned or name unspoken.

I remember hearing Dr. Grady preach in April of 2002 and I was amazed at the detailed research that he has done to help others to understand the plight that is in America today. I understand that Dr. Grady received much enlightenment on the Baptist Preservation tour that he took, and part of that history is well documented in this book. The book is easy to read, easy to follow but is difficult to put down. I have loaned my copy to 3 different people now, but when I get it back this 3rd time, I will certainly read the book again (as I have done with Dr. Grady's other two books). Christian, please read this to understand the times. Sinner, please read this to understand your destiny if you do not repent and trust Christ.

Very good book. Alot to comprehend but worth the read.There is alot to try and understand and some of which you have to take with a grain of salt.Still a great read and really moves your mind to think!Would recommend,have to have alot of time to read too.

If you are a Christian, or even if you are NOT, this book is eye-opening. Although, once I started learning the bible, I was more interested in 'events.' I did find out a lot of these things on Jesus-is-Savior.com, even thought, this book was VERY insightful! Lots of 'history' with all the clippings and such for credibility. I had heard of this book, and had it recommended to me by a friend. I have found it to be most informative on a topic addressed by few other authors today.

It is quite obvious that Mr. Grady has done his homework. It is also quite clear that he has the ability to write in such a manner as to hold the reader's interest.

The information he deals with, though not pleasant, is both timely and essential if we are to properly identify the enemies we all face today, and emerge victorious in this battle called life.

This author unfortunatly gives Christians a bad name. Not only does he profess that the KJV Bible is the ONLY viable translation (just read the introduction) but he also believes, "Satan has despised America for her unique relationship to the King James Bible..." (p. 329). I guess he doesn't understand the preservation of God's Word or understand Greek, but I could be wrong.

Basically my title states it best: Stupid people will believe anything, for anyone who buys this book and believes Dr. Grady is a truly a winner.

Now I will state that there are a few truths to Dr. Grady's claims (probably more than I am even willing to admit), however the structure of his book is very laughable and his broad claims concerning the KJV and the numerous Scriputure verses taken out of context ruin any chance of believability.

This book clearly falls under the category of Christian Conspiracy Theory. I'll leave you with one last quote from this book that summs up my feelings, "An exaggerated Masonic connection with the birth of our republic has led many well-intended conspiracy writers to overreact, sometimes to the brink of lunacy" (p. 330).

Well at least he knows how to describe himself.
