Product Description

Works just fine on my Canon G10. It's not quite what I expected: it has a coiled cord, not a straight one as the current photo depicts. This makes it hard to move away from the camera. However, it was very inexpensive and can live in my bag without taking up much space. I'm very interested in getting some of the other remotes they offer, with longer cords and programmable intervalometers built in. If they're as good as the remote I received they'll help me take some very nice high resolution timelapse sequences for video.
Oh, and they delivery was so fast that it made my head spin. It was almost the next day. Wow.

Purchased one about 9 months ago for a Canon G12 and it is still going. I use it often, mainly for HDR photography which means each photo is actually 6 to 12 exposures. Yes, it is lightweight but hey, I'm not a combat photographer. While it always functions, I don't think it would stand up to being stepped on. The reason I purchased this one is to have a back up in case I do step on it.

I am using this release on my Canon G12. The quality is good and the jack plug is a good tight fit. I just leave it attached so it is ready.
