A nice replacement shutter with the OverPriced Panasonic One !
Fully compatible with my DMC-FZ50 ! Reacts fine & no hesitation on the button. Highly recommended, don't bother with the OverPriced Panasonic Shutter !

OK but not at $40
I paid $40 for this, and it lasted only a few weeks. Bummer. In fairness though, I treat my wired remote fairly roughly, leaving it attached to my tripod, bouncing around in the trunk of the car. After it broke I found a Chinese source selling the same brand for under $10 so at that price I took a chance and ordered two of them, figuring I'd keep a spare in the camera...

After it broke I found a Chinese source selling the same brand for under $10 so at that price I took a chance and ordered two of them, figuring I'd keep a spare in the camera case. (The Panasonic brand costs way more and looks about the same anyway.) Shipping took a few weeks but they finally arrived. Bottom line: It has been working like a champ for about a year. I have yet to open the package for the spare! So, it's an OK remote, but not at $40.

It works, arrived promptly, less money than the branded one and does the same thing.
Now almost a year later I have to admit I wish I bought the brand. This started working only on and off and when I couldn't depend on it, I threw it away a few months ago. October 2010.

I bought the Satechi MA-D1 for my Panasonic Lumix G2, as it had gotten reviews equal to or better than the OEM (Panasonic) device of the same type/design. Since the G2 is new and wasn't yet listed as compatible, I contacted Satechi to inquire about this. The rep was very courteous and indicated that it should be, so I went with it. (I also verified with Panasonic that the camera mic/remote jack was the same diameter as the G1, which was listed as a compatible device.) The product worked flawlessly on a recent shoot, and as a result, I was able to produce some very sharp images. I can highly recommend the Satechi MA-D1!
