Product Description
Solid quality with a small price compared to Canon RS-80N3. It is handy for reducing camera shake on super telephoto shots, macro-photography, and bulb exposures. Pressing the shutter button halfway enables auto-focusing; pressing the shutter button all the way down releases the shutter. Lock the button for long exposures or continuous shooting. Simple, cheap,

This switch worked beautifully for one photo excursion, but stopped working on the second. It seems like it would be difficult to screw up something so simple. I tried to fix it by taking it apart and cleaning the contacts and reassembling the button, but it was dead for good... For $30 it would be nice to get more than a couple hundred shots.
That being said, call me crazy, but I'll probably order another one (or maybe I'll try the Opteka switch). Even given the fact that it broke so quickly, I like it much more than the Canon switch (hence three stars). I'll chalk this one up to poor quality control. The long cord is very nice, and the trigger takes effort to lock, meaning it doesn't get locked by accident as happens with the Canon trigger.

This works great on my Canon 40D. One button does it all. Push it half way for focus and the rest of the way to shoot. I cannot ask for more.

This product works well with the Canon EOS Mark II and Mark IIn camera. It has worked flawlessly since I bought it. It is also a great savings over the Canon OEM product.
