This is a great device, if your looking to do time lapse, it works very easily. That is the main reason I bought this, I am in the film and video industry and wanted something compact to do time lapse every once and a while and I was able to do so with this and my T2i(which it works with perfectly). It is simple to set Interval times between each exposure, or just push the shutter release button for those long exposure times without bumping the camera.

It has a very easy to read LCD display that can also light up in the dark, very nice feature, Ive actually used it as a flashlight a couple of times. For the price it seems like a model worth double its price, which I was about to spend at a local camera shop until I did a little investigating, didn't think I would find it for exactly half the price here! It seems very well put together, nothing cheap about this unit.

I was confused at first using this device about the interval timer but once I remembered one of steps, that's all it took to be using it like a pro, it has a little flashing prompt when the interval timer is activated which reads "Timer Active" and also beeps at the 3 second mark to let you know it is about to trip the shutter.

A great device! a must have for the photog enthusiast! 10/10

I received Satechi Remote Control shortly. It works perfectly with my Canon 550D/T2i! It knows to shoot unlimited timelapses.

Also compatible with the new Canon T1i, this timer is straightforward in its operation. It isn't obvious why the timer limits the number of exposures to 399, but in general this should not be a limitation. Timer resolution is in seconds. Varying combinations between delay, interval, and exposure time seems to provide a fair amount of flexibility. Overall, a simple device that fills in the gaps for cameras that do not provide interval shutter control.

This timer works exactly as it should. It is flexible and has the features one would need to do a variety of timed exposures. It is programmable for both daylight and astrophotography.

The only little change I would like is the addition of an on and off switch to save the battery. It remains on all the time if the battery is installed. Since it functions much like a watch this may not be a big deal since watch batteries typically last years.

The shipping was realtively quick considering it came from CA to IN.

I bought the TR1CMAC Timer Remote Control for my Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi camera to use with my telescope for astrophotography and it works great. It took me a while to figure out how to set it up so the camera could take several time lapsed photos with the mirror-lock setting, but after that it worked.

The timer is easy to use and has many more features than I needed ... but now I love. However ... after receiving a defective product, I received my second Satechi TR-C Timer Remote and I now use it on a daily basis. The original product had a connection problem with the cord and would only work when the timer was laying flat (and sometimes not even then). Now that I have a working product, I love it. I was a bit taken back by having to pay for the return shipping on the original defective product. This will influence my purchase decisions from the Amazon site and Satechi products.

Instead of the Canon brand remote timer I got this for my T2i (550d), it is fully compatible and functional. The only downsides are the stiff keys and terrible instructions. Upsides are the on/off button (cheaper alternatives have no off button) and efficient operation. Recommended for all T2i/550D users looking to do time lapse video or off-camera shutter release for stills.

This is my 2nd Satechi unit, the first bought for a Canon 7D and this one for a Canon t2i. Both work great and are simple to use.

This is the first remote i have bought to use specifically as an intervalometer and it seems to work great so far. Its a little light and flimsy but as an alternative to spending 3 times the money I would rate it for sure.

I purchased the Satechi TR-C remote specifically to try out some time lapse photography. It is very easy to configure. The only negative might be the build quality of the unit. But honestly, for the price and the fact that it functions perfectly, I can't complain. Very happy with the purchase, and it arrived in speedy fashion.
