Satechi R1 Arm Hinge Holder Stand for iPad - and more. I had been looking for a stand I could use for my Lenovo K1 but could not find anything. It got to the point where I was considering making one - in no way would that have been a good idea. I saw the R1 mentioned on a tech blog and the review was favorable. The only downside to the review was where the author said it was a little pricey Coming from the school of "you get what you pay for," I decided to look into the product. From the start I have been very impressed with the team at Satechi. I emailed a question about the possibility of using the stand for a tablet not mentioned in the product description. My tablet is (was) impossible to fit in any stand. To use the tablet in landscape mode the cradle opening must be wide enough to fit the stupid proprietary charging/power cord. I sent my question, they replied in a matter of hours, and I purchased the R1.
You can now add the Lenovo K1 tablet to the list of tablets that fit the R1. Finally I can hold a coffee in one hand and still use my tab in landscape mode all with the charging plugged into the K1. The R1 is a very sturdy holder and I have no qualms about using my tablet with it - the way I like it. I imagine the R1 will far outlast my tablet, but that's another story. Would I buy it again, even if I am one of the 99%? In a heartbeat. Great product, great support. That's what the free market is all about
You guys did a great job. Thank you.
